Facebook is useless for someone like me. I'm such a loner I can count all my friends in the world on one hand.

I find facebook to be useless. If I want to talk to a friend, or find out how they're doing, I give them a call or send them a text. I don't need to look at pictures of them at any given time, I don't need to know how "wasted" they got at whatever party, and I certainly don't care about the other random mundane details about their lives.

It's a statement not to have it. Now that's on a personal level, but in the business networking end of things all of the social networking services are vital to gaining clients and making them dunkets.

So, I'll get all of my social networking stuff together as soon as I can strictly concentrate on freelancery.

I don't have one anymore, deleted it about a week ago. To answer your questions (in a way), I was annoyed with all the stupid teenage drama and people trying to fuck me over with pyramid schemes, and the damn thing has been nothing but trouble since I got it, so I deleted it. There was never anything I liked about it.

nope, because i don't need it (except for this one skin in LoL, after which i deactivated my facebook account... as it cannot be deleted )
i have friends, and all of them have teamspeak, skype and/or even a telephone!! also, we meet, and talk, like totally in rl, and stuff.

I didn't get it because everyone who I would talk to on it I saw every day, so it seemed pointless.

But now I won't get it simply to annoy my friends who do and beg me to make an account.

I don't have it because I have a goddamned phone. If I need to see what my friends are up to, they're all worthy of a phone call. There is nothing about that site that I would even find remotely useful.

Yes, and I'm tired of how it's cool to hate on it. Facebook is what you make it, there are plenty of people who use it to keep in touch with people they know and don't play Farmville or have 1000+ "friends"

Yeah, serves as an ok news feed about my favorite things to what my friends are up to.
Party this weekend? Cool. Band concert on Saturday? Sure, just checking which of my friends are going. Promotional events from game companies? Thanks. Chat with friends? Great, because none of my friends are on MSN anymore.
List goes on, loads of good stuff, some bad stuff, but that's fixable.

I've also blocked most of the applications, so they're no trouble for me anymore.

I have it to keep in touch with friends. It was the reason I got it and it is the reason I use it. I don't play any of the stupid games or anything of that nature.

Facebook serves two purposes. Stalking people and Farmville. Neither is worthy of my time.

I have no better way to spend my time. At least I use my powers for good.
