As long as there is no running water and utilities-- roughing it is the way to go.
Omg that almost makes me want to go lol. That sounds awesome. But then I remember that I hate being hot and dirty.cuddly_tomato said:YES!
It is the BEST thing you can do. Outside under the open skies, listening to the crickets and watching the bats. The smell of nature and all.
hahhahahaa, I dunno, being butt-naked in snow seems like a good recipe for frost bitethiosk said:alas, if only you could get a date with wolf-girlPokenator said:I completely agree- roughing it is true camping and the best kind, I especially love overland hikes through wilderness areas (the ones that take several days- a week to complete), time money and lack of willing friends are the only things preventing me from going all the time.thiosk said:Camping is awesome.

We should organise an Escapist camping trip. Anyone from the UK up for that?
I have no idea. We've proposed that perhaps it's the lack of support for my upper torso (if your heart is lower than your stomach, bile will have a distressing tendency to rise up your esophagus) but that's just a theory. And not one supported by the evidence, I might add: it doesn't matter how supported I am in a tent, I still get nausea, so we have no idea as of this time.AjimboB said:What exactly about sleeping in a tent makes you vomit? Just asking because I've never heard of someone vomiting from sleeping in a tent before.
