Poll: Do you like Lady Gaga?

I'm never sure what to think about here, I mean her music is ok, but every time I see a picture of her looks like

My brain is not wired properly to see stuff like this. I don't know how to react.

I like her. Yes, she's more than a little bit mental but she's somehow managed to make that such an integral part to who she is (at least in terms of her public persona) that the weird outfits and insane hair is just accepted as a part of who she is - to the point where she almost looks stranger when she's - for lack of a better term - "normal".

And okay, her songs may not be hugely deep and meaningful but they are definitely catchy and a lot of fun if nothing else. So yeah, I'm not exactly a huge fan or anything, but I do like her music and can appreciate her image even if I do think it's incredibly weird at times.

I have absolutely no understanding why there's so much animosity directed towards the girl. People seem to consider her the face of pop music, and thus all that must be destroyed to save the world. =P

To be entirely fair, and unbiased, and just plain friendly about it, her music's pretty decent, other than pretty annoying product placement, she's done no real crime in her video's. She even managed to make them interesting enough to get over a billion views on youtube and other sites altogether.

That said she's what someone with an older vocabulary than mine would call "kooky", and that seems to sum her up. I doubt she's Lady Gaga at home, on her own, she has a public face, and a private face, and for that she earns my respect. Better than being the next Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.

This said, i'm a pretty hardcore fan of indie rock, or so i've been told, i'm a rock guy basically.

I appreciate that what she's doing is absolutely necessary for the pop industry. The industry needs a headline like this, there hasn't been a memorable artist for years, and she's got some talent to write her own music.

That said, it's not my kind of music at all and I generally ignore it. I feel though that she's being different for different's sake, she dresses ridiculously.

Her music is terrible, she is annoying, and her costumes are marked as artistic when they are nothing more than blatantly saying "look at me!"

Her costumes have a point that you are obviously missing. That's why they're called artistic. That's why she's the best at crazy costumes because other artists don't put meaning behind em.

I like her, but I'm too lazy to fan over anything nowadays.

Even if she is weird, I don't understand how that effects the music she makes.
Her music is pretty catchy and I like it. Kind of a guilty pleasure.
But I still think the weird side is cool. It's different, at least. You can never say she's the same as all the other pop artists.

I LOVE Lady Gaga. Here's how:
I was driving down the street with my car windows down (no air conditioning) and Bad Romance came on the radio. I stopped at a stoplight and a guy in a truck pulled up next to me, blasting rap out of the window. He and I looked at each other and proceeded to engage in a loud music battle. Then I looked at him and said "YOU DO NOT MESS WITH GAGA, *****!"
I live in Fresno; people get shoot for much less than that.

not really but she is ok. i dont think i dislike her music but it is not what i listen to. that being said i have enjoyed that one song of her's at a few different clubs so yeah... i would never buy anything she makes but i will not leave the floor if she comes on.
my one friend loves her tho....which is more baffling then bad.

It's not really my genre in the first place, but when teh radio is on where i'm at, i don't mind. But if i have anything to say, i put on some propper music instead.

Also, i prefer cartmans version of poker-face.
