I make my bed every day but really its out of necessity rather than I want to

I have 2 cats and they always sleep on my bed during the day and when I'm in it so I have make my bed otherwise the fur would get between the sheets and it'd be uncomfortable for me to sleep in. I tuck the sheets in real tight so the fur is only on top of my bed and is no annoyance to me

I refuse to unless I have guests coming over and I need it to look presentable, but really, what's the point?

No, why would you bother honestly? The next time you get in it will be all fucked up anyway. I do clean the bedding frequently though.

No. Mostly because I always get too hot at night and just wind up kicking all the covers off anyway, so it's easier to just have loose covers. Or sometimes I need to add more covers, and have a mess on my hands the following morning. And because nobody ever sees my bed... not even girls... T_T

I never make it when i get out of bed, but when i get home from work i always make it, a few hours before i go to sleep and mess it up again.
Makes no sense whatsoever.
But i hate mornings...

I make my bed (usually) every day, not because it looks nice or nothing like that, but because I am a very mobile sleeper. When I sleep (if I sleep) I have a tendency to move around... a lot. So my sheets usually end up a mess, and if I want to keep them comfortable enough to survive the month before I change my sheets, then I need to make it in the morning. If I'm in a hurry, I'll say screw it and move on, but only if I'm in a hurry.

Very rarely, mainly because I have no-one to join me in the bed for nocturnal activities.

No need to impress, no need to waste energy when I dont care.

It makes it easier to put things on it without them falling off. My dorm isn't very big.

I do it because if I don't make then when I go to bed later if I have the cat sitting on the unmade bed then I would have to move it and that makes me feel mean but if it's made then I just get into it and that's that

Not really... I don't bother with it too much.

I wash the sheets and stuff often, but making the bed is pointless.

Well, when I get into bed, I put the sheets back on, but other than that, no. I personally think that unmade and chaotic goes well with the state of the rest of my room.

I'm a uni student. My bed is 1/3 of my room (seriously - the bed is against the wall, there's 1.5-2m, then there's a desk and the other wall).

The bed gets used as a chair, desk, dumping ground, table - and it just makes sense for the bed to be made (it's also an incredibly focal point of the room).

Mind you, all I have to do is air the sheets, chuck the duvet on and neaten up the pillows - no sheets to go for the "hospital corners" etc.

But if I *did* have a proper bed like that, I'd still make it - it's just so much nicer to get into a made bed than a messy one.

Now "pointless" is washing the sheets before the girlfriend comes over. Yes, it makes the room smell much better, it's nicer and so on and so on, but, well, do the maths.

I don't, as my room is far enough from the rest that no one cares if I do or not.
