I make sure the sheet's on straight and that sort of thing, unless I'm in a too-pissed-to-care-falling-into-bed-in-my-clothes state.
I take a bit more care in places where I can bring my own things. All I have right now is clothes and four books, plus my laptop. If I had my own bedsheets, like last year, I would care more. Right now I'm in a room which has peeling wallpaper, a slightly broken window, and the heating comes on when it feels like it, until the end of this month, when it'll go off again until mid-September.
