I'll probably get a PS4, but I will wait a few years before doing so, unless I feel I got enough money to spare.

OT: Probably leaning towards Sony and maybe Nintendo, though I will be investing in improving my PC. Sony have a better record for me than microsoft and I prefer their exclusives, the only thing currently not on PS3 that's on Xbox I care about is L4D2, but I have that on PC so fuck it.
Nintendo because I love pokemon and sometimes good stuff comes out, but likely to be a late wii u adopter.
I'll also adopt the Dreamcast 2 if it ever exists because squee!.
I've played games on all three of the current consoles that I've really enjoyed. But I'll have to admit that I've had the most fun on the Xbox. If I had to choose only one, I'd probably go Microsoft - though I'd like to think that I'd wait a bit after launch. Say a year or so for the system to get its legs and some solid titles.
I voted none, since I don't plan to get any at launch. I got burned pretty bad by the 360's massive hardware faults at the start of this gen, had RROD 4 times if I remember correctly (they all happened when the console was still in warranty, thankfully), so I want to avoid a repeat of that.
I'll stick with the PC for a year or two, then see which one has the stronger library and can actually cope with being played. This'll probably double up as a way of saving a little cash as well.
I could be persuaded to change this plan, however, if any of the consoles does something cool with the Oculus Rift headset. 'Cause VR headsets are cool, goddamnit!

Definitely won't be getting anything from Nintendo.
Beyond that it depends on a number of things. I'm a console gamer so I will be getting something, and history would suggest that the best bet would be the next XBox, but I would want to weigh up the options and exclusive titles first.

Probably a WiiU. Hate falling to an evil plan but the Wii really did bring together my gamer and non-gamer friends to a socialable level and the possibility of including a 5th player who can play along without being forced to participate 100% is quite appealing to me (yeah yeah, I know, curse me and my social life). Frankly, I'd love to hear the pleas and begging of the 4 main players playing smash bros while my girlfriend controls the stages, the items and the spawning places via the gamepad. Seriously, I'll have a hard time winning because she loves to see me suffer 8C
As for other consoles, I think I'll wait quite a while until I have a grasp of the exclusives and which one seems more appealing. I think the WiiU is fated to go the same road the Wii did. Being a fun toy for parties but never getting the big AAA releases because of a lack of power. :C

Either none, or Sony after a few years. Depends on the exclusives. But after this gen, I'm going back to build my PS2 collection to perfection, grab up the few gamecube exclusive games I've always wanted, and then sit back check out old school consoles like the PS1 and N64.
I don't want another generation, but I suppose I'll have to buy them when they come out. I'll probably get the Xbox first and the PS4 later.
It is waaay to early to say for certain, but with Microsoft bieng stuck on the Kinect and Nintendo is doing whatever the [insert curse word] they are doing, I'm leaning towards a Ps4. That said, I have in fact simply not been play a lot of games lately, and almost all of them have been on my crap PC, so maybe I will end up not buying any generation 8 console at all.
Unless economic stresses change, I might not be able to enter the next console generation as anything other than a lurker. Truth to tell, I am concerned about where the console makers are going with the next generation, so I will wait either way.

I can't really judge which ones I'll get now, as I don't know what games each of them will have.
The only one we know some games for is the Wii U, which will have a bunch of games I've already played, and the latest Mario rehash. Oh. Please. I totally want to buy that.
