If I have the money I'll buy a new console if they come out in a few years down the road. other than that I am pretty close to going back to all PC gaming.

MS had a pretty good setup but their hardware had a failure rate that I'm astonished they were able to get away with for so long. Paying for online (then paying more halfway through the generation) also turns me off.
Sony had some good hardware but it's unfortunate they didn't want to give it decent firmware support. We've also seen some of the worst ports of all time on the ps3.
Nintendo tries hard but they seem to be a gen behind on processing power so you know a lot of the big games aren't going to be available there.
If they're not even going to try, I'm not going to buy.
I too would have to say that the Android console might be the only one I get next gen.
