Sometimes my sister wants to play Mario Kart with me, but other than that no. And we don't play it that often either.

(It also doesn't help that you have so many phonies out there, girls who pretend to be geeks because of all the attention it gets them.)
Bleh, I hate this kind of thinking.
There are not that many people who actually do that, but some guys are so uptight about it that I've actually been quizzed on gaming several times by dudes `just to make sure`. It's like they must keep the nerd-lines pure!
If dudes can't tell people who are genuinely into gaming apart from the ones who are just pretending then it's their problem.
I never had a guy doubt my passion for gaming, the only problem is they forget I'm a girl. I don't look like a guy, I just don't act very feminine.

OT: Quite often, since my best friend is a girl and we play together all the time.

I'm a girl and I don't play video games with girls or guys because I don't know any other gamers. :c

It's very sad.

Not video games, as I usually play single player games. An exception would be Guild Wars, and the upcoming Guild Wars 2, where my guild is moving over, and there are several players there that are female.

In PnP RPGs, I play with a couple females, one of them is DMing our campaign and another is one of the players.

I play MW3 with my fiance and a lot of steam games with my housemate. In general i don't know that many girls that play video games though.

A few of my female friends do indeed play games, but my Internet connection is shit at the best of times, so playing online isn't really feasible. They mostly play the Assassin's Creed games- they seem to have the good sense to stay away from COD.

I play with a few female gamers but more then that, my best gaming buddy is a girl, here is our current playlist of games we have played in last few weeks:
Hearts of iron 3, civ5, mount and blade napolean wars, company of heroes, dawn of war series, sins of a solar empire, magicka, league of legends to name but a few.

Honestly wish more women were into rts and strategy games in general though :')
Apart from my gaming sis', most of those i know seem more into fps games and league of legends. And mmos.

I USED to. Before that ***** cheated on my and left me for my next door neighbor.

I used to play with her sisters, too, both online and in person. Some of them were pretty good at certain video games. Even Call of Duty, which surprised me not because of their gender but because of their age.

Anyway, nowadays I pretty much play by myself, but me and my sister play Mario Kart pretty frequently, so there's that.

Also, what do you mean "lucky" does playing games with girls count as "lucky" now?
For some reason a lot of people think finding a girl who's into games is the Holy Grail of Life.
it is not. at least for me so far, the one girl i did date that was like that, was a complete opposite gamer than me, and between that and her being the most arrogant person i've ever met (she could give people on HoN a run for their money) we just did not mesh well when it came to games, which slowly spilled over into everything else.

OT: about 9 out of every 10 girls i know don't really play games, unless you include mario party once a year, which that would drop to 4 out of 10, the 1 out of 10 ratio i do know usually just play with their boyfriends or play fun party games, otherwise nothing.

so every once in a while, but the fact they are a girl makes no difference.

Last year I played quite a bit of Call of Duty with my roommates who were predominantly girls. And there's nothing peculiar about it from my perspective. Although one was an utter drama queen; literally the human version of Rarity from mlp which made cod zombies pretty interesting.

Plenty. Most the people I play with regularly are girls, to be fair.
My gf plays WoW (In the same raiding guild), TF2, Borderlands, and a few others. Games I don't actually play with her are her single player games. Fable, Arkham Asylum, Alice Madness Returns, among others.
On the topic of WoW - currently in a guild that has mostly girls and women. Some guys are in it, but the 'omg girl guild DO WANT' perverts are generally avoided.
Another girl that I play a lot of bullet hells with. Recently picked up Death Smiles, which allows some good co-op. Lulz were had.
My sister is, next to me, the best Dead or Alive player in the circle of people we know. We both thoroughly enjoy beating up our friends five at a time.
There's another small handfull, varying from MMOs, casual games, RPGs, etc. etc. Ages vary from 15 to 48.

Obviously, there's plenty of girls and women into gaming. Do they like to stand out for it? Some do. I know a few others that actually pretend to be males online to AVOID this sort of unnecessary attention. On one extreme end of this story we have the people that beg for the attention of females they find online because it's all they know to do, and on the far other end we have a large part of the world that still believes gaming is 'exclusively' for people that fail on a social level. (And well, that can't ever be women, now can they.) There's tons of people in between that don't see either of this as an issue, but sadly it's always the people on one extreme side of a story that manage to get all the attention because... Well, they're generally just silly. If some people would just take some time to see how outdated their ideas are, perhaps women wouldn't have to deal with all the associated nonsense.

TL,DR: Yes, plenty, and a lot of them wished they'd stop getting extra attention because they're women.

I used to, unfortunately a series of shitty events ended up costing me the small group of friends that I played games with at the time so I haven't in quite some time. Otherwise, it's hard to say, it's possible that I have, without voice chat it's hard to say.

We used to play all sorts of games, everything from Red Alert 2 to Unreal Tournament 2004. She'd play anything you put in front of her pretty much, she even played Sword of the Stars for a time.

Yes and everyone I play with is more perverted, has a fouler mouth and a more twisted sense of humor than I have.

How do you go from discussing League of Legends gameplay to discussing the probable incestuous relationship between Garen and Lux?
A girl I play with makes a conversation like that seem tame.

One of two gamers I know is a girl, and also happens to be my best friend, so yeah, I do pretty regularly.
