I cannot stand Japanese RPG's. The anime art style that every single one has and the terrible voice acting coupled with cheesy everything makes me want to play Two Worlds to death.
Because you can go and play Final Fantasy and then play Final Fantasy XII and the ONLY thing that has changed was the graphics.Nomanslander said:Japanese RPGs aren't evolving, they're doing the same stuff they've always done except with better graphics.

Oh wait... Fleshed out characters and worlds, active time battle, free movement and customization.
Orly? which ones? that sounds like things I've seen in other RPG's for years now. hell, most of these features have always been in decent western RPG's.
Please stop making baseless assumptions on game like that because it is clear you haven't played many JRPGs
you haven't played enough WRPG's.LeonLethality said:on topic though I prefer JRPGs as they often have a much better story (that is if the WRPG even has a story) and much better characters.
I've played quite a few WRPGs so please don't say I'm guilty of that.MR T3D said:you haven't played enough WRPG's.
KOTOR and KOTOR 2 have stories and characters that shit all over most other games I've played. absolutely brilliant stories, I really ought to play mass effect games too. WRPG does excellent story.
WRPG's do character.
don't call out when you're just as guilty, son.
