Sorry, but the way it was intended to be seen does not matter. Lucas made the changes that he wanted to the franchise and those are what will stand as cannon from not until people forget about Star Wars. It does not matter what I want, what you want or the rest of the world cares about.iamnotincompliance said:Finally, someone else who not only knows what a laser disc player is, but has one too! I have two, but still, progress! Other people who know what I'm talking about when I say things!
That said, why yes, I do still have VCRs. Yes, plural, both working, both seeing regular use. The laser disc player, not so much, but it comes in handy if I ever want to see "Star Wars" the way it's meant to be seen.[footnote]I.E. Darth Vader is dark aquamarine, land speeders float along on bright orange Cheeto smears, Mos Eisley is basically unpopulated, Jabba never leaves his palace-thing, and, because the internet demands it, Han shot first.

Cut to a billion years later, and now everyone has DVD-players, or even Blu-ray. But I bet that somewhere in the attic, you have a VHS laying around, waiting to conquer the earth once more.
Well... do you still have it?
Shut up! It wasn't that long ago, stop making me feel old! It's bad enough I'm old enough to remember Betamax and the last format war.HUBILUB said:The good old days, where dinosaurs ruled the land and your History teacher was only 30.
