Yes. Mine is directly next to a huge store with dozens of kinds of chocolate, chips, and anything else. I typically bring in a bottle of Coke and a 200-gram chocolate bar.

Sometimes I buy stuff from the cinema, and sometimes I take my own stuff.

Thinking about it, I haven't been to the cinema in ages.

Depends who's paying. If it's me, I'll pop down to somewhere cheaper, and sneak in a few snacks, if not, then I'll get some food.

I may, once in a while, take in a bottle of soft drink that I have purchased somewhere else. Generally though, I'll always buy my food and drink in the cinema.

There is a corner shop opposite my local cinema so I usually grab a big can of Monster (awesome drink) and take that in and the staff dont care, but I usually buy some popcorn for the film :)

No. I work at a cinema and hate it when people come in with big bags of crap and I have to clean up all the mess. Chewits and other individually wrapped sweets are the worst. I'm not paid to clean up mess people have brought with them.

So much of ticket sales goes straight to the distributor, and concession sales are the only way to stay in business.

Oh and they always bring in weird stuff too like that powdered candy that is impossible to clean up, and Bacon. I actually found an empty packet of Bacon under one of the seats. WTF!?
if it was empty, then how did you know it was bacon?

I usually bring candy into the cinema. The prices are way to high. $4.50 for a small drink. Although the "small" is actually kinda big.

Yes, definatly. I hide it ofcourse, just in case. Food is massively over priced in cinema's, seriously.

I usually bring my own food. Have you taken a look at the prices at the Cinemas lately? $5 for one hot dog? I think I may be cheap, but that is WAAAY too expensive!
you're not cheap. That's more for a hotdog than even at wrigley field.

I always eat something before I go in, and I bring some soda with me. That way I don't have to pay ridiculous prices, and I'm not annoying to people around me. I hate people that bring these extra-crunchy-chips-thingy's and just KEEP ON CHEWING! I mean COME ON! SWALLOW IT ALREADY!

Sometimes. Although I don't tend to make a habit out of it, because it is ridiculously expensive.

I smuggle soft drinks and candies.
No crunchy ones, and in a soft plastic bag that doesn't make a lot of annoying noise.
I hate people who bring crispy stuff, or stuff in noisy paper bags.
I hide it under the coat I just 'happen' to carry for my girlfriend.
There's no fucking way I'm paying the prices they charge for stuff in the cinemas.
It's fucking extortion.

I always eat before I go so I don't have to buy food, and then bring a soda. I mean, I know I shouldn't, as in a way I'm hurting the employees, but I just can't pay almost 8 dollars for a small drink and popcorn.
