Absolutely not. Post count is not good for measuring a poster's worth. Anyone can go into Forum Games and rack up a couple of thousand posts so it's not like high post-count users are rare.

Remove Post Count from Forum Games and then what you have are only the boards that require thought when posting add to count. Which would certainly make Count a better indicator of a Users level of deserved esteem, since all the posts would at least be opinions and discussions then, rather than the mindless prattle of Forum Games.

I worship nothing. Not a god, not an ideal, and most certainly not any person.

Well worship is an awfully strong word usually reserved for gods or other deities or Chuck Norris so not really,High post counts will catch my eye though.

Couldnt care less about the number of posts or the date they joined, or even their avatar.

I base my opinion of them on what they have typed in the thread im reading or posting in.

I seem to still be a bit old-fashioned in one regard, I don't think af anyone on a forum as a person when reading what they've typed, I have to have verbally talked to someone and/or met them in real life to really count them as a friend or even just an aqquaintance.

(I'm sorry but until I have proof you're a human, you might as well be a robot hand hitting random keys in the vain hope of coming out with a coherent sentence :p )

edit: I JUST SAW HOW LOW MY POST COUNT IS OMGWTFBBQ /sarcasm

People used to worship them back in the days of MaxTheReaper, but it seemed to stop after he got banned... in no way linked, but back about that time.
I have to say, i didn't have any fondness towards people with thousands of posts in the first place - but Maxi has convinced me i should be actively wary of those with high post counts. So no, i am pretty damn far from worshiping them. Actually, i don't worship anyone or anything except maybe for Lombaxes.

Sorry but no I don't, I tend to look at them with a curious eye though. As if my mind is asking what the hell are you posting to get that many posts so fast? If they have been here for a while they get some respect, after all they are old.

In the name of Onyx Oblivion and Greyfox105 we finish and give thanks for this post.

No, I somewhat dislike the most who have high post counts, even. Because when you post that much it's only natural that you won't be able to put all of your mind into every single one of your posts. Then we end up with a load of low content posts.
Most definitely, and the worst part is that low-content posts can land you a probation, so yeah, I agree, never much cared for the high posters. A lot of them seemed to be dicks too, I remember MaxtheReaper really was.

I don't, but seen quite a few here who do o0

High post forumites have just been here longer or posted more (which isn't always a good thing), some of them are nice, some are asses, some are cool, some are d***, just like everyone else.

I think MaxTheReaper and NoMoreSanity were a bit of a wake up call for people with high post counts, or any post count, as a reminder that no one is above the rules.
So even the higher posters are... 'calmer' now...
That, or they are users who mainly stick to Forum Games & RP, or groups.

I worship people with smart, insightful and thoughtful and maybe humorous posts. If they have a high post count and all of them include these attributes, then I worship then even more.

But a high post count is not worth anything if all of those posts are superficial or meaningless.

Edit: Although "worship" is a bit too much. I respect them.

It´s funny, because whenever i see someone "banned" or "suspended" i ussually go to the link to see why, the banned ones have inmensly low post count (which seems like someone made the account just to make that post) and the Suspended ones are almost always midway to the 1000

so i think the high post count is not just "too much time in your hands" but also "refraning yourselve from posting something incredibly offensive by any means necesary" even if that means making a new account just to make a penis joke in a thread.

I wouldn't say its about worshipping them but more people notice them (which leads to popularity?) since they post alot on the boards which leads to high post counts. More often than not I notice users by their avatar.
