Poll: Does Anyone Actually Get Annoyed By Kids on XBL?

There are hundreds more people crying about the kids on XBL than there are kids on XBL.

If I ever see one they are muted instantly, then I mute the fucktards on my team who keep screaming at them.

Agreed. Off the top of my head, I can't remember a single incident of a child online which was more annoying than amusing. Even those were few and far between. Like the kid who insisted I was Australian when I'm British and the 12 year old telling the 8 year old he was too young to be playing CoD 4. Good times.

Honestly, I don't see what people's problem is. If you have annoying voices in your ear, then mute them. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Most of the games I play on XBOX Live are 18+ certificate, so I think I'm pretty justified whenever I say "GTFO, kid". Other than that, they're no more annoying than anyone else.

I really hate those kids who think that quoting Arby N' the Chief on Halo makes them funny, and people on X-box Live I swear have the most high-pitched I've ever heard in my life its like they're trying to be high or they inhale helium before talking into the mike. My X-box has been broken for a while and I'm too lazy to fix it, so I've the misfotune of no longer being able to play but the good fortune of not having to listen to those kids anymore.

It depends what you play. Gears is the worst I've seen. Im not good at gears, I only play when my friends are playing it. It tends to be the teenagers with the bad attitude on that, not so much the kids. You never hear good game at the end of gears. It tends to be better on COD4.

Streetfighter IV and MvsC 2 has some good natured trash talk but UFC tends to have some vile individuals who take it far too seriously.

GoW2 or GoW? Gears 2 is packed with immature rejects, but Gears 1 is (generally) more pleasant (both gameplay and community wise).

Not completely, if they follow the rules. Once I was playing horde mode online with some kid who was apparently 7 because he told us so. He was alright at first because he rarely used his mic except to tell us what was where and such. Then it got to the point where he talked nonstop on his mic about stuff that didn't even have to do with the game. He was jabbering so much I just tuned him out. Even worse was he really wasn't a skilled player, seeing as he was only 7, and constantly was running around in circles yelling and singing and getting knocked down and having us have to help him. It got very annoying very quickly. We not only was he not helping the team, he was spamming his mic so much that I started to get a headache.

I don't think he was the worst, though. I think that whenever I come into the lobby and I hear blasted into my headset horrible rap music and "AWW YEAH I'M GONNA FUCK YOUR TEAM UP BITCHES" in extremely high voices. I normally just go ahead and mute everyone on my team who is younger than me and swears like a sailor as well because I rarely have my mic plugged in and it goes through my TV speakers with my little sister in the room.

All I really have to say is that if they follow the rules and don't spam, I'm all good and I don't care about your age.

I just don't go on XBL because off them, When my brother ask's me to go on with him (he's a yr younger then me) i do, And i can only survive one game due to various reasons.

i once was playing cod5, and this kid who sounded like a nine year old started SINGING. first of all, im pretty sure the m rating says that they are not allowed to buy these games and im 19 and get carded every time i buy a game at the gamestop near me, so if parents start bitching about what their kids see in these video games they can suck it because they buy their kids m rated games.

I can easily ignore annoying kids, the ones that get under my skin are the ones who are completely inept and sometimes even having them on my team is counterproductive. And you realise not only do they suck, they're also complaining about everything, and blaming you for their misfortune. Oh, did I steal your kill, really?
