I dream most nights but have the tendency to forget about them after the first couple minutes of being awake. On extremely rare occasions I can have a good lucid dream (a dream where you realize you're asleep and then manipulate whatever you want in your dream). There was one really wierd time when I dreamed that someone told me to take out the trash and I remember thinking to myself "Eh, It's just a dream anyway what do I care". Instead of doing anything cool like start flying or spawn a supermodel when realizing it was a dream, I just went to sleep in the dream. Even in my dreams I'm too lazy to accomplish anything productive.

Today, while taking a nap, I dreamed I was an accessory to a crime, and my friends (playing detectives) were trying to catch me so they could get to the real criminal. It was really interesting because only half the dream focused on me, the other half focused on the real criminal. I was a side story in my own dream!
The other night, I dreamed that I was eating a hamburger/egg dish while I was simultaneously IN the dish, except tiny, trying not to be eaten by myself. I fucking love dreams, they're so...extreme.

Everyone has mutiple dreams every night. You only remember dreams that you wake up durring. That being said I had a very vivid dream this morning where somebody held me at gun point and I ended up shotting him in a strugle. It was very intense and cinimatic and I'm so happy it wasn't real because I don't think i would be able to handle taking another life.

I wish I had your dreams. My dreams are usually about having sex or other sexual things (making out, getting head) with completely random women that I've never seen in real life.

I don't dream very often, but when i do they're usually very (VERY) strange, and have some connection to whatever's going on in my head at the time. I can usually only remember peices of them afterwards, but it seems like the fragments I remember are actually tied together when I'm dreaming. And, yeah, I love dreaming; often gives me intereting stuff to think about.

hahahaha I love this story. I've only had 2 of those types of dreams and both times I immeadiatly got some action. One time I dremt having sex with a girl on the floor in the middle of the hallway at school.

I have three types of dreams, the ones where I'm being chased by a monster or some other evil thing forcing me to crawl, jump, and run away. These sometimes lead to the second type where I'm on some epic quest or adventure involving me as the hero with a group of friends and enemies, these hopefully end in me defeating the evil. And then there are the boring ones where I just have a bad dream and a very odd version of my school where i forget my homework.

It's not a question of whether or not you dream. It's a question of whether or not you remember your dreams. No matter what you dream when you sleep. As far as anyone has figured out it's the brain's way of decoding and memorizing the events of the day.

OT: When I do remember my dreams they're pretty unusual. The places, and people will all be real (or close to it, realistic anyway) but the situations will always be out of this world.

What's really strange are premonitions. I've had a few in my day. I remember one that I had when I was about 12, and the event in it didn't occur for another 2 years or so. Very strange...

I do dream, not every night, but I do, and let me tell you, they are some of the most messed up things I have ever seen. Let me give you an example:

A zombie apocalypse in which I'm in a mall, then I drive out of it (changing from me to Frank West half way through) in a sports car. I go outside (back to me again) and see a police officer shooting a woman. I go inside and suddenly become female and a few years older then myself, to see three heavily armed men sitting around. I suddenly appear in a seventies van and drive, pick them up, and start-ho, wait, no, now we're in a helicopter and fly off. I then wake up.

Yeah, I'm confused as well. I also have the innate ability to control my dreams while I'm having them.

EDIT: Another thing I remember is that I can feel everything in my dreams. The ground beneath my feat, the wind blowing by, the clothes on my back, even pain. Once again, I don't know why, especially saying almost no one else in my family dreams.

Haha, I have sexual dreams, as well, nothing to be worried about. There was a lot of sex in the criminal case one, too, but it wasn't the focus.

In my 19 years of life, I can only vividly remember 2 dreams. One was a nightmare when I was 6, and the other happened a few months ago. In the nightmare I was kidnapped by some old guy, and in the other dream, I was trying to escape a nuclear explosion on a boat.

I still don't know why I can never remember my dreams.

My dreams are actually kinda cool i think. They are normally watevr i've been thinking most about. Like for example when i'm reading a book i really like all of a sudden dream that I'm in the book with the charcters changing what happens. Same thing with videogames. And then because of a dream i finally got the nerve to ask my girlfriend out because i did it in a dream.

I like having dreams that are so vivid they're real, unless it's like: I get a lot of money from someone, and now I can finally afford that car or whatever, but then you wake up and: no money!

My favorite dream is when I'm falling, but I haven't had that dream for a long time. I just love that sensation you get just as you wake up. I also like dreaming that I can fly, cause that's just pretty damn sweet.

I remember a psych class saying that you dream every time you're asleep for more than a couple hours and just don't remember them unless you wake up at a certain time. But no, I don't remember actually having dreams more than one or two times a month. Sometimes less than that.
