Subbed. Subbed by far. There are only 4 exceptions to the rule: Full Metal Alchemist, Karas, Princess Mono-oke, and the French movie Renaissance.

I watch basically everything with subtitles anyway these days, that way if someone comes into my room and talks at me, they don't make me have to rewind to see what the characters said as I can read and talk at the same time.

Well English voice actors always make the characters sound like
a) Small children
b)Sexual predators

Examples: a)Naruto and b)Bleach, honestly I'm seriously disturbed by the English voices for the characters of those two animes. So I prefer to watch the Japanese version with subtitles.

Depends on the dub. Cowboy Bebop and Code Geass have good dubs, and I generally don't mind them in general, but bad dubs definitely exist (like Nanoha's, for one [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVCoN3_EOHU]. As a fan, I strongly advise you to watch it subbed).

I generally watch subtitled anime, however, except for the occasion I get it on Netflix instead of online.

Subbed, I usually prefer the original Japanese voicing over any other language. Plus, I prefer to read something over listening to it.

There are some where dubbed works and sounds better, and some where its the other way round. I find it often depends more on the dubbing quality than anything else.

Subbed here. Mainly because the new eps are subbed much faster and so I don't even give dubbs a chance. I like watching the dubbs though just to see what they are like. Some are too funny (bleach).

I prefer subs

I find an odd entertainment in hearing what they were originally meant to say, rather than the alterations, regardless of the degree of alteration, made in the dubs.

I'll usually watch english dubbed anime though I have no problems with subtitles as long as they are legible (whoever though red subtitles on a black background was a good idea should be shot).

I watch foreign live action films with subtitles though as it just sounds funny with British or American voices coming out of asian mouths.

Leaning towards subs. There are a few good dubs out there though. The dubs for FLCL and Yu Yu Hakusho just sound right.

I normally prefer subs, though since I took some Japanese in high school I sometimes watch raws (no subtitles, voiced in Japanese) to see if I can guess what the fuck's going on.

Fortunately, it's not that hard to figure out most shows.

Some dubs are good, but a lot tends to be lost. They're like rapists.

Of course, a lot of stuff suffers. Even manga to anime, or book to other.

Any one that likes Dubs is just thick and can't stand actually READING something.
God knows that's hard to do.

I don't really know what either is. Can someone help me here?
Animes that are dubbed as in replaced with English voices, or subbed as in subtitled.
I prefer dubbed if it is good, but when done bad I'll watch a subtitled one. So far, I like the dubbed version of Bleach.
i like both, most of the time.
ill watch an anime movie in english and just for the heck of it, watch it again subbed.
yea, so far bleach has had some great english voice actors, i especialy like the voice for Gin, Kenpachi, and Komamura the most so far.(Renji is a given)

Subs. Ill-fitting voices and dialogue customised to be a certain number of syllables long just fucking ruins it for me every time.
