I've only ever added one person - the rest added me. Though, they're usually people I've met in threads or the like, and are all lovely people. =D

The only reason I don't add people is my immense fear of rejection. xD

I usually get friend requests when I post a funny reply to someone and they like me for it.

Soon I will befriend the world with my awesomeness!
I can't let you do that, Star Fox!

Never had a friend request yet, but I don't post on the forums much so I don't complain xD

The only people that have added me are ones that I've had a decent discussion with so I accept them.

But if some stranger added me I guess I'd accept it, what harm does it do?

EDIT: I'm a Pulitzer Laureate? When did that happen?

If I post memorable quotes or I play TF2 with them. I don't mind, if people request for friends I must be pretty awesome.

I get the occasional friend request from a strange person and usally when I send out a request now I usally put down an explanation or I had proably talked to that person before hand.

I have one friend. Pity me.

He's a real life friend though and I wouldn't add anyone who didn't take the time to introduce themselves properly or whatever. I like meeting new peoples on the internets.

Well, I have a few people "friended" on my profile, but we don't talk to eachother...at all. It's so lonely here!

Seriously though, if you add me, I will add you back. Even better if you PM me or something. I will answer back. I haven't had any internet friends before, but it could be an interesting experience.

On the other hand, I haven't really added people as friends here myself. Mostly because I don't want to bother some stranger with a friend request from another person s/he knows nothing about. Bah, even on the internet, I'm a bit too shy to chat with people. Annoying.

Or make it epileptic with that avatar.

OT: A little angry, and a little disturbed. I don't like being friends with someone who I have never seen before.

I usually accept them. I'm not sure what the etiquette is with them though. I've never sent them PM's or whatever incase it was a bit weird, yaknowwhatImean?

Never added anyone I don't think, either. Cos I'm a cold hearted *****.

I haven't been a member of The Escapist for a terribly long time, but ever since I started to be a bit more active on the forums, I've been recieving friend requests from complete strangers.
I only have one friend on this site :(

So yeah, if you want to play Spec Ops with me, or TF2 when I get it Christmas, add me and make me feel loved. And I promise to sound less pathetic.

See, I haven't f/r anyone, I tend to let people who like (or, I assume like) me to add me first, mainly because that way I know that they are happy to be 'friends' with me. If I added people first I'd feel like I am pestering/coercing them to adding me as they might feel obliged to.

I have only ever once removed somebody from my friends list, and that was after seeing a nasty remark they made on a thread (not in jest).

That's my assumption for why I have been friended.

The only person I didn't know that I added was MaxTheReaper, but that's just bandwagon-jumping. Really, who hasn't added Max?
He added me, I felt flattered until I saw how many people he had on his list, I assume it's grown considerably since then.
