Poll: Escapist Gamer Age Demographic?

I'm 22. Played my first game at 6 or 7. It was on this old, old computer that was black and yellow. I have no recollection of what it was called. I think my first game was called Castle or something. You were a yellow blob running around chasing ghosts looking for relics.

First games were my older brother showing me his Gameboy games, which I remember him getting for christmas, which made me sad, because he stopped playing with me

I'm 23. I took my first gaming steps at the tender age of 4 with Super Mario Land on a friend's Gameboy; that same grey brick later turned out to become my first very own gaming system at age 6, with my first game being Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan. Ah, good times. ^^

In the US The NES was released October 18, 1985. That was 9 years before you were born.

The SNES was released in 1991, 3 years before you were born.

I am just not seeing the math here.

Let's see. I'm 21 now, and I first started gaming...I don't even know exactly when. My father was into games and computers, and it's always been a part of my life. I remember playing on his old Atari, though my own first console (as in, the one that belonged to me and not my father) was the NES. I also used to sneak into my father's home office and play the Incredible Machine on his computer (best puzzle game ever).
