Came very VERY close to walking out of 'The Happening' when they started to literally run away from the wind. To this day I wish I had walked out because Lord knows staying was not the right thing to do.

Most everybody watches movies, and just as common as watching movies go, some don't even finish movies. We all have our reasons why we would, but I ask you, have you ever walked out of a movie in a theater (Try not to include watching movies at home) and if so, what movie (or movies) and what reason, if you don't mind saying (If you say "Meet The Spartans", it is kind of obvious why, but if you walked out of something by a director/writer you respect, it certainly is more interesting).

And if you haven't walked out yet, have you ever come close? What attempts have you made to make a theater going experience go by without actually watching the movie?

Try not to flame, that's common knowledge. If someone doesn't like a movie you like, don't be rude, just deal with it.

I'll get this out now: I cannot get myself to walk out of a theater. It's not a kind of obligation I have to fulfill or anything, it's just I can't get myself to get up. Even the worst movies (Meet the Spartans - it was for my girlfriend at the time) I just can't get up from. Even if its a cinematic trainwreck, I can't just leave. Afterwhile, I'll start evaluating the background and music and costumes, but I can't just leave (Amazingly, no bathroom breaks either).

So, how's about it? Any movies?
No. If I've payed for the ticket I'm going to watch it through no matter how bad it is, because otherwise it'd be a total waste. Fortunately, I've never watched a movie anywhere near being that bad.

Only film I have ever walked out of... Robots, it looked like someone had stuck a bunch of toys in a washing machine and then put it up for release.

Im probably the least picky about movies (besides horror)

but when i saw Fucking Bruno i expected it to be hilarious like Borat. But it was essentially a gay porn. I was out of the theater before 30 minutes had past

This needs better options, I walked out of one movie, Stuart Little, but none others, so I cannot select any on a poll. I walked out because it fucking sucked and I hated it so much.

No, but should have. I have, however, walked into a different one that was just starting as I got out. Several times.

Was made to see Mona Lisa Smile by my GF of the time. About 45 minutes in I said that was it, I was going out for a cigarette and would probably stay in the lobby afterward, chatting with staff.

Hilariously, that was the beginning of the end for us. I wouldn't even watch that film to save my relationship, let alone the £5 it cost me to enter. Dreadful rubbish.

Word. I don't see that many movies so when I do go it's usually "pretty" good

I walked out of the first Resident Evil, not because I didn't like it or anything, but because I ate some bad Taco Bell (I know, the stuff is always bad) before I went to see it.

NO, I refuse to walk out of a movie no matter how awful it is because I paid like $8 and there no need in wasting my money. Atleast I'd get to sit in air conditioning... am I right?

I turned off Public Enemies part way through from sheer boredom. But that was in my own sitting room, does it count?

Yes but it was to get laid.
Likely not going to happen again, so where is my option.

"Yes, but I don't plan on doing it again."
Plan on trying though.

The crocodile hunter movie, because I felt sick. It turned out I had forgotten I hadn't eaten in the past 36 hours so I left and got some food.

Only one. Even though Ive seen a lot of shit

I once went to see 'Be Cool' with my brother while I was on holiday in New York City with my family. Thought there was nothing else to do. But it was about 12 minutes in.... we just decided to fuck that and went off to actually do something.
