Elder Scrolls. Although I'm one of the souls who thinks Morrowind was better than Oblivion, and Oblivion was better than Fallout 3. Fallout 3 was more than worth the money, over 100 hours, but I don't think the guns work well in a Bethesda game. The original Fallouts were great due to the amazing writing, humour and storyline. Bethesda games are generally great because of how massive they are, how much there is to explore, and how much fat loot you can find. Once you find the Terrible Shotgun and the Xuanlong you're pretty much done as far as enhancing weapons, and after that the story doesn't carry it all that far, exploring was fun but everything was exactly the same. Good game, but I'd rather have another Elder Scrolls. There's far more to do, and far more character customization. And Bethesda just does the medieval, less than amazing story, but amazing, varied, massive environment thing better.

Well, I really want Fallout 4, but if Elder scrolls 5 comes out first then I want two things to happen, Don't make being a vampire such a pain in the ass as the other games (It just seems like being one was more of a disadvantage, with your character aging and always catching fire in the sun, Maybe make a cloak that prevents the sun from turning you to ash, and just go with the fangs and red eyes to show that you're a vampire) and Bring back werewolves and the werewolf curse

I'm hoping they make Fallout 4 first.

That way, they'll have more experience when the time comes to make Elder Scrolls V, enabling them to make THAT one as good as possible!

Absolutely love both, they're two of my favourite games ever. But since Fallout 3 was the most recent one, Elder Scrolls, please. :)

I really really REALLY liked the style and atmosphere in Fallout 3. A sequel in a different city, with more perks and stuff would be awesome. And they could make up for the not-too-good main storyline in FO3.

I disagree on TES IV being one of the best titles Bethesda has released. Other than that I would love to see a new TES title.

While I love the Elder Scrolls games, and have done since first playing Morrowind, my votes with Fallout here. For me Fallout 3 stood out as one of the best games I've ever played and Fallout is, as a whole, a series that I love to pieces xD

Based on the most recent games of each series, I'd say Fallout 4; I loved Arena, Daggerfall and most of all Morrowind, but Oblivion disappointed me. Saying that, I'm eager to see the next TES games as well.

Dunno if its been said in the thread, but Bethesda has announced this year that they had no plans for making a fifth Elder Scrolls. I guess fan pressure can help though... At any rate, even if they change their minds, we are unlikely to see it in the near future, so Fallout 4 is more likely to be first. I would personally prefer TESV

The Elder Scrolls.

Not because i particularly liked the last one - to be honest oblivion wasent that great, the only reason i finished is because i cheated to close the oblivion gates (they all look the same after a while) - but because it seems to have a bit more variety than Fallout.

Plus, its less depressing.

TES V... For the love of the Neravarine TES V.

They could create such a cool story line. It'll be the beginning of a new age because the
Imperial bloodline has been cut & there is no one to take the throne
Imagine the posibilities they would have with the story line... on the flip side that could also be a reason to leave Oblivion as the last game in the series :/

I'd like another Elder Scrolls. I absolutely loved Morrowind. Oblivion was more necessary than anything else because the standard fantasy world of Cyrodiil was less... confusing? The great thing about Morrowind was they threw out every fantasy cliche they could and created an entirely new world which is what made it so AWESOME. The immersion was deep because they had written so much lore into the game (probably a little too much at some points). You had to work to get into it but it was worth it. Oblivion was a way of getting more attention for the series and trying out some new graphics.

And seeing as each game is set in a different nation of Tamriel, this means the next game can't be as cliche as Oblivion. I CAN'T WAIT!

They should definitely make a TES IV. Morrowind badly deserves a worthy sequel. And what's this "Oblivion" I keep hearing about? There is no such thing, people!

Generally,Fallout series are very good, but I prefer Elder Scrolls, cause I like best its epic fantasy based world, the character creation system, the unending opportunities that you have as a player and the medieval style weaponry&armor. When I first played Morrowind I didn't know, with what to begin with.I like games that you have to search and talk a lot with your friends,to decide which race is best for certain skills or weaponry or which quests or dungeons have better objects and etc...I decide to make more than 1 character ... ;)
