Bethesda is making the DLC because they want more money. it has nothing to do with game quality. obsidian refused to sell out, so Bethesda is selling out themselves.

Yeah, if MS offer $[(combined DLC sales estimate)+(enough cash to not worry about looking like dicks)] then the deal is a better one for Bethesda from a business POV.

MS have always been pretty free with throwing cash around to snag exclusives (even if just timed ones).

I consider all DLC to be bullshit, have never seen a DLC that I was willing to shell out the money for.

The Pitt, Broken Steel, or Point Lookout from Fallout 3 were worth the money. The other two... not so much.

...still, they are pushing their 360 and ignoring their PC operating system?...
i swear...
i mean i understand that they might not put it on the ps3, but windows is their stuff too, and a copy of windows 7 runs in the range of the cost of a dam 360, so why would microsoft say only release the dlc to our products, instead of just one of their products
oh well, it will probably be released on other systems later anyways, that, or because im on a pc, i get a hacked copy for the pc or something...

It makes no logical sense for the sodding Xbox to get it first and the PC to not, it being Windows Live and all that. I'm more annoyed that it's once again the console getting stuff first, and not PC, while PCs are better (If you disagree, good on you but I cba to have an argument about it, PCs do everything a Console does and more, end of) so it should be ported from PC to console, not the other way around ><

I do feel sorry for PS3 owners tho, they've not done well at all for all of this generation's stuff

And all Obsidian has done is release incomplete awful games so Bethesda was taking a gamble getting them to make F:NV anyways, might as well be sure of at least making some money off the game from getting paid by M$.

Most of the people at Obsidan worked on Fallout 1 and 2, which were amasing and easily the best out of 1, 2 and 3, hence me being slightly hyped about New Vegas

I wouldn't be so surprised by the comment if it wasn't the (currently) highest voted selection.
I had a good idea that people don't read every selection in my polls (I use every space with wordy selections) but I thought the highest voted one might get some attention.

I actually don't understand why. The pc players will probably be able to play the dlc for free a couple of days after it hits xbla... not that they should.
