Poll: Favorite "Elder Scrolls" race?

I like the lizard folk, but hate the cat people. Orcs are pretty cool and so are nords. Imperials are teh most boring race to play as. Dark Elves are annoying

In Morrowind, I always was a Wood Elf because I like stealth and lock picking. In Oblivion I was always a Dark Elf because I still like the stealth stuff, but sneaking wasn't as hard and lock picking was ridiculously easy (especially when you get the skeleton key at lvl. 10) so I went with a slightly more combat oriented race.

Nord was cool to play, i liked them. Also, the ability you get in oblivion, an attack that you can use once per day, it was really really useful at starting levels, it took even strong enemies down with 1 hit, loved it.


When playing in Oblivion a 100% pure mage, i played as a high elf, cause they kick ass in magic. I remember how it was fun not to hit anything, and blast those big croc's in midair , loved how they flew back

I like pretty much all of them (except bretons and altmer, obviously), but redguards take the cake cause as long as you choose a class with long blade, you're gonna wreck

I suddenly want to find a copy of Gex 2 and 3.

Good times...But lockpicking is cake in Oblivion. I can open Very Hard locks, first try, with a Security skill of 5.

Seriously, why should I bother with the Skeleton Key at this points?

oh gosh I totally forgot about red guard. I didnt read that in the choices but man I would take back my choice of Argonian for Redguard.

Well, they can do everything. But you should try other races on occasion.

The only one I hate is Imperial. They're great in Morrowind, where Speechcraft and Personality matter. but in Oblivion...

Argonian totally when i play a mage, which is my more common starting class lol. Second would be an Orc when i'm a fighter which.... I do play fairly often more so on Morrowind. Then usually a Wood elf as my third.
