Well...this is my ninja'd argument.pseudo721 said:Timesplitters gets my vote. Timesplitters: Future Perfect (a.k.a. TS3) was easily my favorite shooter of the GCN/XBOX/PS2 generation. It featured a solid single player campaign with a decent (if not goofy) story present through well-animated, hilariously-writter, and well-voiced cutscenes. However, the multiplayer is where the game truly hit gold. With dozens of characters, lots of leves, plenty of game modes, TONS of unlockables, and multiplayer bots, the split-screen multiplayer section of the game provided my friends and me with well over a hundred hours of excellent fun.
i totally agree, and must add that you have all my respect for choosing Deus Ex !KillerMidget said:Deus Ex I voted for merely since it was in the line-up, though it's supposed to be a genre blender and in terms of shooting JC seems to have missed all that training.
Anyways, I loved Deus Ex. If you don't count it as an FPS then I'd choose the Source games, excluding Counterstrike.
Sorry, I thought SS2 was post-2000, sorry.ColdStorage said:Its wierd logic, its the FPS of the decade of 00-09, System Shock 1+2 came out in the 90's, borderlands is nothing like them...
So by that logic Pink Floyd's Brick in the Wall is the greatest FPS of 00-09 that came out before that time period.
It is now Battlefield.Uncertain said:Left 4 Dead for me... I think I invested more than 400 hours of my life in the Left 4 Dead games. I only recently gave them up after I realised how much I hate the community.
Edit: maybe NinjaMedic should replace 'Shock' with either 'Borderlands' or 'BioShock' (if possible), thus solving all problems with the world today in one fell swoop.

Only World at War.
Not that, so much as the single player campaign. Which was a very different WW2 game. At least, the Pacific theater was. Online co-op didn't hurt, either.Ninjamedic said:More Nazi Zombies??Onyx Oblivion said:I nominate Call of Duty. BUT!
