Ehh, I watched the first couple, then left it a few weeks and caught up with the episodes I'd missed, and I've decided to do that. I'll give it 'til episode 10, I think, like I gave Apocalypse Lane, before I give up on it.
Okay, I've seen you say exactly the same thing so many times and ignored it, but now I've got to respond. You seem to be missing the likelihood that the whole series has already been written, animated, voiced and put together, in which case cancelling it now would make no difference to where the money goes because it's already been spent.Furburt said:I hope the Escapist cancels this misguided, misjudged heap of shite and moves the money used to make it into something that actually doesn't make people cry in shame that this sort of jism in show form is featured on their favourite website.
I'm pretty much in the same boatFurburt said:I watched every episode up to 5.
Dear God, watching paint dry is actually more interesting! Seriously!
[sub]look, it's condensing now..[/sub]

It's too bad, because Russ Pitts has made some great shows. This will never be remembered as one of them.
Just accept it's a miss of cosmic proportions and cancel it without haste.
Says the person with the Trigun icon, an anime dripping with cliché...lycanthrope321 said:This'll be locked soon.
Anyway I stopped watching at five.

Agreed. Having the right to express an opinion is not the same as having the need to express it. It's not like they are paying for it, or even being forced to watch it so the comments are not necessary and if anything are just a pointless insult to someone who had put effort into creating something.Singing Gremlin said:Oh, certainly, they have the right to. Can't question that. That doesn't actually undermine my point in the slightest - being able to do something makes it no less a pointless exercise in whining about other people's efforts for no apparent reason other than to make themselves feel better in the age old human tradition mob moaning.Abedeus said:Newsflash - people have the right to ask if someone likes an Escapist-related thing or not. It's not communistic China yet.
Besides, the asking isn't really what bothers me. What bothers me are the people who have already said, loudly, aggressively and repeatedly that they don't like it, and will take every opportunity to do so again. I cannot see the point of it other than to offend the people behind it, which is deeply, deeply childish.
You think criticism is an insult. Your opinion is invalid.Machines said:It's not like they are paying for it, or even being forced to watch it so the comments are not necessary and if anything are just a pointless insult to someone who had put effort into creating something.
Same here.Aerodynamic said:I never bothered to watch a single one.
I agree with said poster - and I don't particularly like Game Dogs myself. That's why I don't watch it. Some people like it, more power to them. Not my cup of tea.Singing Gremlin said:Why does everyone feel so damn compelled to whinge about this? We get it. You don't like it. Well done. Last time I checked Russ was not strapping you to chairs and forcing you to watch it, so why do you insist on bringing it up just to say how much you don't like it again, and again, and again?
If you were actually paying the escapist with your money, I'd understand displeasure, but you're not. And if anyone tries to suggest their internet costs I will eat their face.
It's just childish to whine and throw tantrums because something you don't like is on the escapist. You don't like it, fine, say why and move on. It's not your place to have a personal crusade to tear the damn thing down.
