No I would not want a strictly gay character game. Not because Im Homophobic, but because I dont wanna hear all the idiots damning it on forums, and me getting pissed off at their stupidity

If there was no sex scene, yeah, but then again I think visible sex scenes in games are all off putting. Even Mass Effects. I don't HATE them, but seriously, I don't want to see a computer generated side boob.
Either way, romance never seems to be the MAIN CENTRAL SUPER IMPORTANT PLOT to a game. Could be close, like saving the person the character loves in a game from someone, but the romance itself isn't the goal. 'Cause of that, I'm ok with it. And if anyone asks "what if the central point of a game WAS to romance someone", my answer is "I wouldn't play it even if the main character was straight. Those games aren't my thing.

I think that a gay main character would, indeed, be nice. I mean, we were close with Persona 4 and Kanji Tatsumi (And yes, I realize how much this has been milked, but it's a good example).
It doesn't matter to me, however. I think that most games are going to keep going with Heterosexual relationships.
But, if we could have a main stream game with gay characters, it would, indeed, be very nice.

I don't really like any romance in games. Especially when there's something more important going on, like the whole world might be destroyed. If I'm trying to save the world, I don't give a shit about getting my end away. I just wanna kill all the bad guys.
It doesn't matter but I probably wouldn't play if he was so stereotypical that he had a lisp and used words like "fabulous" no matter how good the game is.
