Run behind something and make myself small. You are perfectly safe if a grenade explodes 2 feet away from you so long as that 2 feet is inhabited by solid concrete.

It would depend on the circumstances. I doubt it would happen in my normal day, or even an abnormal day. But it would come down to: Run/Kick it back (and probably fail) or throw myself on top of it.

Something similar happened to me once, I was at the dublin riots and the cops fired tear gas grenades, and I was quite proud of myself, I managed to throw it back before it went off. The morons weren't wearing gas masks either.

All are incorrect. Dive away from the grenade, as best as possible, and hit the ground flat. Grenades explode in a cone shape going towards the sky so being as low as possible, even if you are just 6 feet away, is the safest position.

Not saying you will walk away scar free, but best chance of survival is being as low as possible, as far as possible.

I'm not really sure, but seeing as I'm just a fat gamer, I'd most likely jump or run away and then get the hell out of dodge. Most likely after exclaiming, "GRENADE!" sheerly out of MW2 Spec Ops instinct.

I'm pretty sure a grenade's lethal radius is further than one can throw, let alone run, so if there's cover then get into it, else dive away n pray... shrapnel to the torso = death, shrapnel to feet = merely pain.
