I said 'Nope', because Bungie is very special, and took many risks with the franchise that Microsoft (a great company, but a bottom-line oriented one) won't take. They did the great ODST with no hint of Master Chief that, althought a limited game, is much more the real precursor in terms of game mechanics to the awesome and almost perfect Halo Reach than Halo 3.
THe enterviews that I am seeing from both teams and the images of Halo CE Aniversary give me the feeling that Halo has gone corporate. They are going with less riskeé colors, more COD kind of orientation, saying that leaving Master Chief lost in space was a 'great mistake', etc.
Bungie was the heart of the franchise, infusing it with feelings. Microsoft was thefunding behemoth that provided the company with a body. I am very afraid that the franchise will wither and dye, being slowly wattered down until tthe very last hint of flavour is lost.
I just hope that Bungie does survive and thrive in their new endeavour.
I will buy Halo CE Aniversary, if only for achievements and new graphics, because I still play the original CE in my 360. Halo 4? I need to see more of it to make up my mind, but I am not holding my breath.
