And so we get to the root of your terrible hatred towards others! If you cannot draw their faces correctly, you will make their faces match your drawings!
...this is brilliant.EDIT: I copyright this idea now!
I did take a multimedia class this last semester, and I was mostly happy with the stuff I did because I didn't take a damn thing seriously and just tried to make something that looked cool. Apparently that makes for good projects.
Actually, I wasn't drawing a real person, I was just drawing a face.

But that's not a bad idea...
Indeed it isn't. Hold on a tic...okay, continue!
Back on topic, I absolutely hate my serious writings. Essays that I'm restricted in my sense of humor may be good in the prof's eyes, but I cannot stand to look at them.

I pretty much refuse to not add humor to the things I write.
That is the best way to go about life, but unfortunately when I put a George Carlin quote into a paper on eating disorders, the teacher got all pissy about how "it wasn't being sensitive to the people afflicted by them."
Bleh.

I am a doodler and a writer. I really honestly don't mean to brag, but both seem to come very naturally to me. When I do get something I don't like out of my pen, some of my friends might tell you I throw a fit. I have been told many times that I am lucky for my high percentage of successes.

I hate most of it unless I really try for it and put a lot of time and effort into. Oddly enough, the stuff I like of mine is ignored by everyone who looks at my sketchbook. I just get "You should be a manga artist" and "You're really messed up." ;-;

Whaaaaat.
Eating disorders are not like real diseases - they are wholly self-inflicted.
There may be some real issues attached, but it's not like it's brain cancer or anything - there is a choice to say "No I am not going to ram my finger down my throat/eat to comfort myself."
That's what I thought, too.
Here's what I put in:

The stuff on my deviantART account is a load of crap really. I always find myself dissatisfied with what I do, because I inevitably have to compare it to what other people are doing in the same field (fractal art). Since they have the time, patience and knowledge to work out the intricacies of the programs we use, they're producing some amazing stuff, whereas my approach is "find a randomly generated flame that looks alright, then maybe fiddle with parameters to see what happens".

Don't even get me started on my songwriting abilities. I've got a good ear for a tune but I can never replicate it, which I suppose is why I've never bothered to properly learn any of the instruments that I own. As for lyrics... yeah, I've written stuff in the past. The writing process is fine, I just have to make sure nobody ever sees it when it's done. Even myself. If I re-read it later, it always gets thrown away. Or shredded. Or burned. Or both.

Recently that hasn't happened. However, I can't even watch my old videos without cringing. The only reason I leave them up there is because everyone else seems to enjoy them. It seems like its all a result of execution, cinematography, and timing.
I haven't watched your vids, but #1 rule if you want to enjoy your own work: DO NOT under ANY circumstance, rush it. you'll only end up regretting it later.

Oh yes. Very rare is it that I like any of the stuff that I write.
I sort of understand what you are going through. I am trying to write a novel and everything I write I hate, either I can't write my ideas down or I can and then re-read it and just want to shoot myself for writing such crap.

My low self-esteem is one of the big factors in this.
