At times, yes. But only at certain times. There have been times where I've loved a game that he's critically bashed, but there are other times where I completely agree with what he has to say. So I'm kind of split and have to play the games myself to get my own opinion.

He takes every small detail that he finds bad and exagerates the fuck out of it all for comedic value which doesn't work anymore. The older ones used to be funny but then it was just the same stuff over again.

Most of the time, yes, I do agree with his ideas and the criticism of games. Even when it comes to a game that I like, I have to admit some of the flaws it has- Yahtzee has never made me dislike a game I was already enjoying, though. Not that much power
I have always believed that Yahtzee has been perfectly honest in his reviews. However, thinking he is honest and agreeing with him are two very different things.
Yahtzee does say some very accurate things about video games. So in some cases, I do agree with him. He wouldn't have gotten this far if he was always saying dumb things. Though what I find is that the style of his videos often makes the game sound far worse than it actually is. So while I rarely dismiss his opinion, I certainly won't use him as my only source. To me, he is an entertainer first and reviewer second.

He emphasises bad points in games for comedic effect, and succedes, so he does his job well, but he doesn't influence my game purchases at all.
It's kind of ironic how Yahtzee has grown a whole garden of fanboys of his own, not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just kind of funny.ZombieLawngnome said:

I find him to be fairly accurate. usally. I would have rated Borderlands higher IMO.

essentially, he has high-standards, and makes it perfectly clear. is he a reviewer? no. an entertainer? ALmost. I think the best why to describe him is "comedic critic". perhaps the best to approach it is "ZP: I find out the bad. OTHER REVIEW I find the good."
Ive seen tons of reviews totally gloss over the bad and I think we need ZP to point out the truth. and its FUNNY!

I agree with his views on the consoles, but, I think he skips over important parts of certain games.
Some games just aren't for him however.
