The first two weren't that bad.

I'll be happy to see the trilogy end... which it won't, thank you Mr. Bay!!! >=(

Yeah, but nobody watches his films anyway. People watch Bay's. A LOT.

I'm not that angry though. I'm more hacked off at guys like Tim Burton butchering every classic childrens tale, making a boatload of money, and people STILL considering him both a great director and an artist.

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

In other words we are all doomed. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the event that the Mayan's foretold brings about the destruction of the earth.

Hah, well, I could totally see it happening after those extremely stereotypical African-American-based Transformers. And this time, it's actually an Italian car.

Although if they had an Audi R8 voiced by Christoph Waltz, I would watch the movie no matter how stupid it is otherwise.

Hey, it's been a long time since I've posted. Just been a little busy.

Transformers 3 has been going very well. We are going to shoot in LA, Chicago, Washington DC, Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow, and China. On the talent front, we just locked in Frances McDormand and John Malkovich. Both amazing actors I've always wanted to work with. We also just got Ken Jeong, he is the super funny actor stuck in the trunk from ?Hangover? and the Doctor from ?Knocked Up.?

We start shooting pre-shoots in about one month.

I also was at a Ferrari charity event this week raising money for a hospital being built by Ferrari in Haiti. I announced that night the newest Autobot to join Transformers: the Ferrari 458 Italia.

I also want to thank everyone on this site that donated to the Make -A-Wish charity. We raised $20,000 which I will personally be matching. This is a great charity where they make wishes come true for kids who are very ill. We have had many Kids from Make-A-Wish visit us on our Transformers sets and this time we will be posting video of their visits on Transformers 3.

Michael Bay
This is going beyond a joke. The man keeps making bad movies and people keep on giving him money to make these bad movies. But Transformers isn't a film franchise that would be easy to fuck up, and yet Bay did it twice. The second movie in particular was shocking idictment on his lack of skills.

I think he should be stopped.
What stereotype do you think Bay will have Ken fill?

Oh look. More whiny d-bags parading their opinions as absolute fact. Just like every other Michael Bay thread that has been and ever will be created. All we need now is a truck load of the "raped my childhood" crowd harping on about how Bay ruined their memories of the piss poor toy advertisements disguised as television series.

I don't really think Michael Bay really wants to do the Transformers movies. He clearly doesn't show interest in the franchise and has hinted that it's the studio forcing him into the position of making them because he made the execs so many unteen millions with the first two.

If Michael Bay would actually show some enthusiasm with the franchise, he might show it some respect and actually revere it, but because he's being forced into yet another movie about a franchise he clearly doesn't care about, it's only going to result in even worse movies and even more angered nerds and shattered childhoods.
Then Michael Bay is even more utterly pathetic than I thought possible. He should just grow some balls, have a heart and stop raping my childhood icons. Hollywood should just learn that a remake cannot be done well.
What about The Thing? That was an excellent remake.

Ever seen Postal? That movie is hilarious. Uwe Boll should have directed comedies, he's not bad at them. He admitted in an interview that he makes the movies bad intentionally because the German government subsidizes him for movies that fail at the box office. The worse it does, the more money he gets, screw the studio.

The only Micheal Bay movie I ever enjoyed was the Island. Then I found out it was plagiarized from an old movie called Parts: The Clonus Horror. Thank you MST3K!

But Meet the Spartans and Disaster Movie and its ilk are all far worse. Honestly, I never liked Transformers. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was where it was at.

The Departed was a remake. So was The Hills Have Eyes. Don't forget Dawn of the Dead, but that still wasn't as good as the first.

Yep. This thread should be locked, I'm suprised it hasn't been yet.

RotF had me so excited from the teaser trailer.

The actual movie ruined all of it. The sequel was supposed to focus on the robots, not more Witwicky crap.

They couldn't manage that. The first one was worlds better.

Make the bad man stop!
Seriously, my view on the previous two films are so similar to MovieBob's that it would be frightening, if it hadn't been for millions of others sharing the sentiment. Enough with the sodding humans already...

He's been saying since the first one that he'd make three.

I actually really liked the first one, but the second felt forced and rushed and Shia LeBeouf pissed me off in it.

I'll be happy to watch a third as long as they leave out the retarded sex jokes. Robots don't hump legs.
