I cut them into pieces with my knife and fork, and then, when I start to eat it, I use my hands.

Knife and fork are only acceptable when the pizza has been made by my little sister, or somebody following her crazy recipe-- that stuff falls to soggy pieces that burn everything they touch if you dare try and pick it up.

Any other pizza ever, hands.

I am a simple being who picks up the pizza, points the pointy end at her face and eats it. I will however, refuse a burnt crust. I hate burnt crusts, because normally I love the crusts and this excess of carbon ruins it.

Knife and fork, except when it's the kind of thick-crusted pizza that you can lift without having it bend over and drop all the topping on the plate.

I use utensils. And I eat slowly. I'm not an animal.

I will, however, eat with my hands if eating pizza outdoors with no table. (Like I did at this year's Lollapalooza.)
But you ARE an animal... Just ask Darwin!

I use both.

I tend to eat Italian-style thin-based pizzas (don't really like deep-pan), so I use a knife and fork until the pieces get small enough to pick up without them flopping all over my lap.

But with a deep-pan I would probably just use my hands.

Depends how messy it is. If the crust doesn't hold together enough to be held, I use a fork. And I might also use a fork if substantial amounts of the topping have come off.
