So many DSL and so many inconsistent and bad connections.

My friend who has DSL has a weird problem with his internet...it works sometimes, and other times it downloads at about .5 KB/sec.

It's ridiculous.

I'm very backwards. We can't get cable where we live so we have to stick to the ol' copper wires. Having said that things could be worse, my auntie and uncle got DSL and in their area its a laughable 300kb/s download. I'd tell them to switch to cable immediately but they're bogged down with a crappy 24 month subscription with BT.

As said many times before, broadband is a joke in the UK but at least they're working on it. And to those who obsess over speeds there is more to life (sounds very cliche, but its true).
