Well, I think I'm going to tick, we're already dead.
Simply because you can never have a reference point to life aside from "I think therefore I am".
But just because I know IM real, doesnt mean that everyone else is, or that anything is, or that anything matters, or anything has happened.
Think about it.
I have. I've come to the conclusion that Descartes did not finish his thought. It should read "Cogito, ergo sum incerto", not "Cogito, ergo sum".
I think, therefore I am uncertain.

We'll last as long as it takes for the supervolcanoes to go off and the methane deposits in the seabed to get released. That'll raise global temps by 10 degrees. Add that to the potential 6 degrees from global warming and you'll turn Britain into the Sahara.
And the scary thing? The volcanoes are overdue....

Ahh, yes. How easy it is to forget the majesty of the billowing clouds of sulfur, burning ash, and incurable toxins as they charge forth, choking and burning people as they spread across the world, without any form or capability to stop them. It took something like 6 days for the clouds from the supervolcanoes of the past few centuries to spread across the entire globe. Sure, they're dormant now, but they'll be back, oh yes. Give it a big enough push, apply pressure in just the right areas, and more than one will blow at once. Some will live, of course, they always do.
But then the dolphins will leave, with a quick gratitude concerning fish, and the intergalactic wrecking crew will come through, and wipe us from existence while one alien and one human, carrying a towel, manage to escape. Such is life.
