Hold on...you wait until they let you out? But that's no fun! If you break out all the time, they try to develop ways to keep you in. That keeps life interesting.
(bides time) just fish'in in the dark. Wait what? If I try to leave my collar will explode.
I'm sure you can figure a way out of that...hint: those guards have to get kinda close to the door's slot when they give you your food...and they have keys!
What slot do you speak of? (looks around the padded room) I'm...No I don't follow...
Hurm. Do they not have a door with a slot in it to give you food through? In that case, over a period of weeks, you should stick some of the padding from a wall of the room in between the back and sides of your neck and the collar. It might just stretch out enough. Then you can slip it off!
Youre....trying to kill me aren't you? The guard from fable 2 made it pretty clear, " you try to take off the collar, you meet your death...and not the quick and painless kind either".

No, there are different breeds, all dogs belong to the same 'species'.
Touché. Alright; which breed were you referring to then?
I wasn't, I was referring to dogs as the species. Thats when you jumped in with "there are more than one species of guard dog". But I've had the most hands-on experience with German shepards, and Arctic wolves...in Texas.
Sorry, it's just that generally people don't have experience with all the different breeds of "attack dog". I just wanted to see which breeds you were referring to. Yeah, I'm nosy.
It's cool, I don't mind.

I do a lot of shooting competitively, so I've had a few thousand rather large bullets pass harmlessly 2 feet above my head (pulling targets), and occasionally a bullet will ricochet off some metal into the pits around you. And yes, you really do get that nice SNAP of a bullet going supersonic over your head. I can't say it gives you the adrenaline rush of being shot at, but especially the ricochets put the fear of God in ya. I fail to see how this thread has anything to do with war though.

Being shot at by someone in America is different than being shot at in war. Here, unless you have something bad in mind or know something the cops don't know, its unexpected to be shot at. In the battle of Fallujah, Marines went house to house kicking in doors expecting there to be people who wanted nothing more than to kill Americans without regard to their own lives inside every room of every house in that city. Its not something unexpected to be shot at and shoot back at people in war, its natural, so trying to compare being shot at in violence in America, and being shot at in violence in war is a very different thing.

I've been around a couple shootings, but never had any aimed at me. I still remember being a couple cars down from someone who got nailed in a drive-by. Had they held the trigger for about 2 seconds longer, I would've been swiss cheese.

Nothing in terms of actual war, just urban gang warfare :)

With a crossbow and longbow, but that was just an accident. I did have a NDE, and had to drop to avoid getting skewerd.

Good times...

War: Only acceptable if it serves the greater good.

Yes, once in automobile, once on foot, two times guns were pulled on me without being fired, and once a knife. Never been hit by real bullets, but I've been hit with salt rounds (burns like unholy hell)and twice by rubber riot control bullets (didn't know they were rubber until I realized there was no blood). I work in a lot of shady places so these numbers are actually surprisingly low.

I had the misfourtune of walking pretty much straight into a gang fight in a dodgy area of London. I just heard shouting then one of the guys evidently pulled a gun cos there was a large bang, followed by more bangs, so i turned and walked pretty quickly away, then then was a loud snap nearby, i didnt want to wait around incase in was the target so i scarped pretty quick

never shot, cut once.
Nothing serious.
I have to admit, guns scare the shit outt of me.
A guy has a bat? You can run.
A guy has a knife? you can run.
A guy have a gun? He can shoot you in the back.

Ok, so this is a knee-jerk reaction to the war post. How many people here have been shot at by a live firearm? Let's see how this matches up to what people think of war

I have, and yes, it was by a real fire-arm.
I ended up talking to my neighbor, who shot me, and he showed me the gun he used, which is the AR-7.
http://world.guns.ru/civil/ar7-2.jpg
(Just so you guys know what it looks like. He doesn't have the telescopic scope though)
I took a .22 bullet through the left arm, just below my elbow.
Me and my friends were walking on his property and we had our (Mine actually. They're too cheap to buy them.) air-soft rifles and they looked rather authentic. One looked like a hunting rifle, another looked like a small WWII-era carbine, and another looked like a G36. We were trespassing with what looked like actual weapons, and he was smart enough to try and disable our combat abilities. xD
It was really scary to be honest. I heard a gun fire three times, and I look down to see if I'm okay, and I see my arm is bleeding. He ran over, and made us all lay on the ground, and checked the airsoft guns to see if they actually were firearms. He was shocked, and helped me get the bullet out of my arm, and disinfected it and apologized. That was nice of him, and I was thinking he would be like the majority of the rednecks who just kind of.... leave the person bleeding or fire more.

Well I live in England, which has proper gun laws and doesn't hand them out to mentals, but I do live in Shottingham (Nottingham) our gun crime capital so I think I'm doing pretty well to have only had the one unpleasant experience involving two gentlemen with sharp pointy knives.
