Does "every meal" include breakfast?

OT: I eat plenty of meat (hell, it's practically my only source of protein), though this is usually restricted to fish, chicken, beef, kangaroo, pork...

OK, I eat a lot of meat, except for at breakfast.

I used to not eat meat, but then I decided that the act of living entails conscious immorality and so I now eat chicken sometimes, usually at nice restaurants. Another motivating factor behind this change is that I discovered that octopus is delicious.

Also, did you know that the invading space monsters from UFO Robo Grendizer are also called Vegans?

I love meat! Nothing makes me happier than a perfectly medium-rare to rare steak with bacon and a little blue cheese (Sorry, I like to cook too). But right now I can't afford much more than chicken and Ramen noodles.

I don't know if anyone will care to answer this, but a buddy of mine is going to try going vegan this summer and he loves beer but he says that in order to be truly vegan he can't have beer, bread, or anything else with yeast in it. Does anyone have any feelings on that?

Eating meat is murder. Tasty tasty murder.

I mean their is room enough for all of God's creator's. Right beside the mashed potatoes.

If animals didn't want to be eaten, then why did they make themselves so damn tasty?

I mean, you can tell that you're not supposed to eat celery, because it tastes horrible, but meat tastes delicious, which is your body telling you that you should be eating it.
And then the body then fattens and slaps us about for obeying it. Growl.

I eat mostly chicken and fish, but I don't pass up beef. What a silly thought.

"Poor little cow, little sheep, little fish
How can I sleep?
When carrots are bleedin'
Plants are screamin'
And tomatoes cry?
You say "it's not so bad, they're only vegetables",
That's what you said
Maybe i'm a murderer, but i'm hungry and they're better off dead.
"

I'm a meat-eater, aye.

Vegetarian since late last year. Occasionally I've consumed rennet and gelatin out of laziness. But I'm trying to stop that. I cop flak from practically everyone for it.

As someone a friend knew once said:

"If God didn't want humans to eat animals, then why did he make them out of meat?"

On the by, venison is fantastic, especially the kind that prey on corn fields. I highly recommend slow cooking it in a crockpot for a few hours with potato and carrot slices, as well as a full bottle of bbq sauce and/or can of tomatoes. Fantastic stuff.

And no, I have no intentions of starting a debate on people's beliefs. It was simply a very appropriate quote for the thread.

non-meat eaters
I think the word you're looking for is vegetarian.
Being a morally superior person, I am a vegetarian. I've been since I was about 11 after I discovered it's true origin and realised that I didn't really like the taste .

I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat a lot of meat. About 2/3 of my meals have meat in them, with that meat being chicken about 75% of the time.
