Given that you can control a gamepad to a PC (there's both a wingman and a g25 in mine at the moment, I also have dualshock controllers for my PS3 and xbox 360 controllers that I could plug in if I so chose), a top end system today will most likey be over a higher techinical standard than the consoles of tomorrow (or if not, can be cheaply updated down the track so it is), has far more uses outside of gaming (word processing, internet surfing, skype type chat, facebook etc) and has by far the best multiplayer options (or rather, it is the only console where you actually have different options) it is the obvious choice.
The only reason I can see anyone choosing anything else is because they are uninformed.

I disagree (actually, you're flat out wrong, the PC wins easily), despite sharing the best screen (with my PC) the xbox 360 seems to have slightly better visuals than the playstation (despite being on an inferior screen), and neither can even pretend to compete with the PC. Some PS3 exclusives, actually, only GT5 of what I've played, are prettier than anything I've seen on the xbox (though are still a fair way off top end PC graphics), but I mean with cross platform games. Sometimes cross platform games don't even support 1080p for the ps3, for some reason (which is disapointing, where I'm from xbox live is a joke, and I'd rather not have to choose between higher res and playable multiplayer).zeldakong64 said:I'd probably stick with PS3. Graphics are best, still has a blu-ray player, and I like the controller. The only thing tempting me is Xbox Live, but I'm assuming that wouldn't become free
