The thing is vampires have it hard with all those weaknesses. Let's not forget their fetishistic tendencies to suck blood by giving neck hickeys. Being a vampire is actually inconvenient than being a cool thing. Power? Hell, it's so easy to gun down anyone these days.

Just have to say, I'd rather be Harvey T. Birdman, then I would get super powers when in contact with sunlight. With vampires, it's stay out of the sunlight, or catch on fire. Not being able to feel the warmth of the sun on a cool autumn day, while the cool breeze brushes my hair, would make me quite depressed.

Well, you've got super strength, speed, and agility. However, you need to feed on blood, you can't go out during the day, and they already Have by far the gayest person alive playing as a vampire (YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT, TWILIGHT!)

You have super strength, can (sometimes) fly, and you become instantly attractive.

It depends on what type of vampire. Do I want to sparkle in sunlight and be depressed about my existence? Not particularly. Would I like to live forever, be able to seduce my prey (and not kill them in the process) and be able to manipulate people with my presence? Absolutely. There's a reason I play a Toreador in VTM.

I don't see a downside to being a vampire: as a gamer the sun already burns, a stake in the heart is just as effective whether you're a regular person or a vampire, super strength as a vampire, plus its an excuse um cough cough reason to kill people.

I could go for the whole increased strength, speed, toughness, reaction time, etc.
Providing I don't disintegrate in sunlight, I reckon it could be done.

If it had to do with losing your soul, then i probably wouldnt. Because if i knew for a fact there was an afterlife, and the choice was afterlife or endless life (until you die, then nothing). I would choose not to be a vampire.

Being a vampire would be awesome, no matter what type; much as I hate Twilight, dude can still stop a car with his bare hands, so that's always a plus. The only downside is that I could never in good conscious play Castlevania again.
