I knew plenty of people in high school who "became" gay because they didn't fit in, and they wanted to belong to some sort of social group, so in many cases it can be a choice. I've also known girls who had bad experience with men, and decided to become lesbians. It can be a choice.

They'll either be bisexual or not truly gay.

Yes, I've felt bad about something and thats the racism I've suffered, because I didn't understand it but that was when I was young....

the sexuality thing comes alot later and the confusion you suffer within yourself is nothing bad, its merely confusion. And when your older the sexuality thing is tiny, the only thing that can bother you is people you can actually sidestep.

Its not to say you should sidestep them, such as you and I, I could have ignored you but I didn't. And so could our resident archetype sex god SCAM (whose totally straight), we both made the choice to take your comments head on.

So in short, no, children do not feel bad for their sexuality, its who they are.

Could be, I can't get inside someone's head and see what their exact motives are, besides a desire to change their life's circumstances and the perceptions of themselves by the people around them.

I honestly don't know on this one. I don't care, but how would the kid feel. There's undoubtedly a lot of hardship that comes with being gay, and probably will be for a long time yet, if not forever. Some people are just plain stupid and can't except someone who's different, which is pretty much the source of most of the worlds problems.

Let's not find a cure for homosexuality. Let's find one for intolerance.

Ok then. Care to back that up? If that's true that means that you could open up gay porn right now, choose to be gay, and get an erection without batting your shit around at all or thinking about anything else but those two guys doing it in the butt. After you've done that you have room to talk. Don't worry, apparently it's a choice so you could just turn strait again after you're done.

I'm not sure if it's genetic or just the result of early upbringing, but it sure as hell isn't a choice. Sure they can PRETEND to be strait, but it's just as easy for you or I to pretend to be gay. It doesn't change what you're sexually attracted to.

OT: I would make them strait. I don't have anything against gays, but a lot of intolerance and hate directed towards them would be avoided because of it.
