Let's say you have been sentenced to death, but the judge is merciful enough to allow you to choose how you shall be executed from a list, what would you choose?
Personally, I would choose beheading. Quick, painless, although crude. I couldn't stand the sight of a firing squad before me, or the anxiety of lethal chemicals running through my veins.

It generally wasn't quick and painless. Sometimes the head didn't come all the way off. Not only that, but sometimes the brain existed for a few seconds after decapitation. No thanks.

I would prefer to be put to sleep via lethal injection. I suspect it is probably the least painful and you'd lose consciousness like... well, going to sleep.
