According to the Codex of Mass Effect one, it looks like The Volus work closely with the Turian race. It could be that the Volus will use those ties to get some of the more anti-human Turians into an army or, militant group. Otherwise, the Volus could make all of the Turians attack whomever they please by holding the galactic economy at ransom since they seem to have a huge amount of influence over that as well.scorptatious said:The Volus. They do control the galactic economy.
I can see the Geth being part of the council. Not for hundreds of years though. As they are still considered a threat to Citadel space. On the other hand though, they seem more interested in creating their own future. So they probably wouldn't have anything to do with the Council races unless it includes them.
As for the Krogan, I don't really seeing them even getting their own embassy unless Wrex, who was actually interested in the future of his people, survived Virmire and is leading the Krogan. Even then though, the future of the Krogan is uncertain...
At first I thought, "That would be impossible. As the Volus aren't exactly the 'paragon' of physical fitness." (See what I did there?) But than I thought, the Volus could use their bartering skills to convince mercenaries, pirates, Krogan, ect. to fight for them.Shoggoth2588 said:If The Volus don't get on, they will likely try to rise up and attack other Citadel races. It would result in a very entertaining war, I think.
well as someone has already stated, the Volus' government is folded with the Turian government, having them on the Council would be like having 2 turians on it. Which is why unless both species go through MAJOR political reform, it's likely the volus will never get on the council.Shoggoth2588 said:According to the Codex of Mass Effect one, it looks like The Volus work closely with the Turian race. They are not civil. They are civil warring pirates, mercenaries, murderers and would-be galactic conquerors. The reason that the genophage was imposed upon them because, buoyed by their success against the rachni and new-found power they tried to take over the god-damned galaxy.bfgmetalhead said:krogan cause after all the shit the other races have done to them, (aka genophage) and yet they still try to be civil, plus they saved everyone from the racni Wrex has proven under his leadership that the krogan can be disiplined and civilised as everone else.
