Its not that I want to enforce gender roles or anything,But come on,its a show made for ltttle girls about magic ponys. It dumbfounds me that I'm the weird one,for not watching it.
(I must not be in on the joke where we act like MLP is a godsend show and all the cool guys are watching it,or some thing.At least I should hope its a joke.)

And? Why does the species of the mane characters affect the quality of the show? Surely it should be decided by the quality of animation, dialogue, characters, etc, rather than superficial details.mraustindude19 said:

Obvious episodes with obvious plots being sloved in obvious ways. Simplistic dialogue with a few good jokes thrown in to humor the parents watching with their children. What do you expect? Its a kids show.
Watch it for the animation or if you (like me to some extent) have a preserved sense of childlike glee. I've watched the first season and it was okay at least. Not mindblowingly good, but....okay
Obvious episodes with obvious plots being sloved in obvious ways. Simplistic dialogue with a few good jokes thrown in to humor the parents watching with their children. What do you expect? Its a kids show.
Watch it for the animation or if you (like me to some extent) have a preserved sense of childlike glee. I've watched the first season and it was okay at least. Not mindblowingly good, but....okay

Look, don't be insecure - you're not going to turn gay because you watch pretty pink pony's.
Just watch the first couple of episodes on youtube - it won't take any more than an hour of your time and then you can decide for yourself. Why do people even ask such pointless questions?! This isn't a life changing decision for gods sake!
