And what would you call somebody who "really likes fencing" or "really likes doing martial arts?"

Well, I do suppose that it could be use in a sporting context. However, just imagine all the situations that pops in my head when I hear "Because I really like shooting". I can tell you that shooting at a target range does not come first to my mind.

its better than being cooped up in the house playing video games and its a way to meet people or bond. it teaches responsibility and is a great stress reliever. after having a rough day shooting some rounds down range can make your day good.

Okay, now think of all that can go wrong.

1. If you got in a rage, you have a weapon.
2. It could get stolen and used in a crime and you take the blame.

Big, EXPLOSIVE stick, and you'll note that Javelins are only used in high schools in the USA in North America, and the reason people still fence is because the points are balled.

At sixteen, for target shooting only, I can't see what's wrong. Keep it locked up under something heavy so no one can mess with it and blow themselves up and it should be fine. Just don't go crazy at all.

If guns are legal it means it is far more easy for dangerous people to acquire them.
