Poll: Is Xbox 360 done?

I know some people that believe the 360 is the best console out there, and that's fine. I think it is a complete waste of money since I have a gaming PC, a PS3, and don't like Halo. Though, I might end up buying a 360 sadly... Damn you XNA and being able to make XBLA games.

Well this gen is coming to a close and it seems the once strong 360 is losing all it's me only games.

With Mass Effect 2 going to the PlayStation and it large AAA game like God of War. Is this it for 360 to go out with not a roar but a wimper. I myself will keep the 360 simply becuase I already own it. Unless it RR me again then not so much.

Sure Xbox is losing Mass Effect as an exclusive but it is also getting Metal Gear Solid.

The exact same thing was said when the 360 started getting games that were previously PlayStation exclusive. Both systems are great, and for their own reasons. One is NOT better then the other, nor is either dying out anytime soon. This Gen of consoles is not coming to a close, hell, they are just releasing new "motion detection technology" for said systems.

Consoles will come and go, but whiners will remain forever.

Hey man I enjoy my 360 immensely. I absolutely loathe Halo and all of it's iterations. There an absolute mess of amazing games on the system. If I had some extra money to burn I would get a PS3 as well because that too has some absolutely amazing titles + all of the PSone titles you can buy is a real cool thing. I really wish the 360 could get a port of some of the older FF games but I think Sony retains publishing rights through the rest of this year for VII through XII. Perhaps shortly after SE could bring em on over to the box.

Well, my remark of it being a waste of money is because the only game I would consider getting on it is Dead Rising, every other game it has is either on PS3 or PC. So, for it, it would be a waste, but that is just my taste in games...

Plenty of life left, same with PS3. I think the Wii is still behind and will be the first to go to the next generation. But still, 'generations' are becoming less and less important. Unless some crazy new technology comes along I believe there is still time before I have to spend more money.

If Sony losing FFXIII exclusivity didn't kill the PS3, then ME2 jumping consoles certainly won't hurt the 360. Besides, Halo Reach just came out, so you know the Xbox is doing great right now.

Wait, is this thread a joke? Do you seriously think that just because the xbox 360 has lost the mass effect 2 title, that it's done? As an owner of both a PS3 and a xbox 360, I can safely say that neither are going to be "dying out" any time soon, and people won't start selling their xbox 360 because some PS3 gamers now have Mass Effect 2. The xbox 360 is still, in my opinion the stronger console out of the two (no flaming intended) but it most certainly isn't dying out.

Sorry if I come across as angry, I'm really not, I just haven't had a good rant in a long time

Just want to clear something up. You don't need to buy anything more to use kinect with a non slim 360. It just needs to be plugged into the wall for power, the cord that you need to do this is in the packaging.

Oh right, that makes more sense than selling them separately. I don't intend to buy Kinect but knowing things allows you to win arguments. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle. [HEADING=1]GI Joe![/HEADING]

well there is fable III..which is going to pc more then likely later on, and gears of war 3 is going to come out in the spring i believe? there are also more but those are two that come off the top of my head...

the 360 ps3 and wii are all fine.

The wii is fine? Please do not make me break out my long list of reasons why the wii is certainly not fine.

regardless of personal reasons its doing just fine in casual games and its rehashing a bunch of golden games as we speak. not to you or me but its got alot of fans/users
