That just isn't true. There are tons of exclusives to both systems that are highly worthwhile but to each their own and all that jazz.

Guess you over looked the "because the only game I would consider getting" part of what I said. Because looking at this list [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_exclusives#Microsoft_Xbox_360], none of the games caught my interest (well, except the 14 of them that I already own on PC). I do have to say that Limbo looked cool, but then I heard that there was a recreation of it in LBP, so meh...

I don't know, the creator of this thread smells awfully of troll to me....but it may be that he's just unbiased or a fanboy. Anyways, in my opinion, they are both great consoles with a lot of firepower in them. Me myself will stick to my new PC i recently bought. But buying a new PC doesn't give me the right to slander the competitors.

OT: And no I wouldn't agree with you because this gen of consoles is certainly NOT over. Far from it seeing how they are now adding motion controls for one thing and that Microsoft RELEASED ANOTHER FRIGGIN VERSION OF THE 360.

Well I thought it was done when I heard that half of them were spontaneously combusting. But MS has some seriously zombie like loyal customers. I know a couple of people who bought "spare" 360s to play while their "main" one was being sent off. That seems pretty absurd to me.
With that taken into consideration, I'm sure it will be fine.
I bet you even if they came out and said "Mass Effect 3 will be a ps3 exclusive" there will be few 360 fanboys jumping ship.

The Xbox 360 is a system that's worth sticking with if you already have it, but it isn't strong going forward. Multiplatform games are starting to look better on the PS3 as devs start realising how to harness its potential better and PC hardware is just moving way ahead of the 360. The 360 has hardly any exclusives left, particularly not highly rated ones. It's just not worth it to sink money into new 360 games, except for Plants vs Zombies.

Well this gen is coming to a close and it seems the once strong 360 is losing all it's me only games.

With Mass Effect 2 going to the PlayStation and it large AAA game like God of War. Is this it for 360 to go out with not a roar but a wimper. I myself will keep the 360 simply becuase I already own it. Unless it RR me again then not so much.

Because the rising number of Xbox live suscribers may have something to say about That.The Xbox360 has been drowning in proprietary games while the ps3 only has like 4 that people even care about.

Another point is that Sony loses money if someone buys a PS3 and many people just buy god of war,metal gear and a generic shooter that starts with an M(not gonna say it) and nothing else and that still doesn't make up for the cost of the system because some people don't buy games and instead use their ps3's as a super computer.So technically the PS3 has been dead since it sold it's first console.

And the Wii is a piece of crap that sells really well for some reason(mine is being used as a stand for my Xbox currently)

So, Basically what i'm saying is that the Xbox360 and Wii are actually making a profit and are not dying at all while the PS3 is a super powerful financial failure.It doesn't matter how many proprietary games a console has.What does matter is the profit.

Personally I agree with you. Whenever my friends start arguing about I can never be bothered to join in despite having an Xbox. They're both pretty awesome.

I think it's done but I don't think Microsoft thinks that, They will drag it on till at least 2013 if not 2015 as they have already stated their intention.

It is just such a money spinner they won't give up on it that quickly, especially now the "Slim" "redesign" and $150 peripheral they can milk a couple hundred more dollars out of their loyal fans that they didn't expect they'd end up paying.

I think Microsoft will be the LAST of the big companies to release an 8th gen console, they are sitting pretty now as the self-proclaimed "leaders" of this generation (excluding both Wii's sales and % of sales that are mere replacement systems for RROD models).
