The fighting in Brotherhood is admittedly a LOT easier than both AC2 and AC1. BUT if you intentionally never stock up on meds, like me, it can become a little challenging. Does that count?

Before that I played DA:O which everyone who played it will attest is very difficult even on Easy!

Well, I was feeling nostalgic, so I recently played Donkey Kong Country 2. Didn't require a lot of skill, but all 2D platformers require some degree of skill. After that, I jumped into Lion King. With its iffy platforming controls and far apart checkpoints, I've been going at it for quite some time. I was going to put Persona 3 in there, but it was my first playthrough and thanks to major overpreparation I found myself grossly overleveled at the bosses, so I didn't need to make too many real decisions. Once I jack up the difficulty, I would definitely call it a skill game if decision-making skill counts.

Played Portal the other day, that needs skill. Playing Minecraft now... That sort of needs skill? A couple of my phone games need skill. Admittedly, not as much as other games that need skill, but...

And finally, I might add that I'm playing Pokemon White. THAT needs quite a bit of skill, especially in meta.

I Wanna Be The Guy? That definitely requires something, be it skill or sheer bloodyminded determination. Or both.

Now you know where all those screaming noises are coming from.

Probably the only game I have right now, that I haven't been able to get the hang of yet. Than again it's mostly due to the fact that the game registers attacks as movement and vise versa.

Bit as all people above me have said. All games require skill, some just require different ones
I'll give you a tip. Equip a sweeping blade pin like Osafune or Masamune and use those to move around the field. You will automatically move toward enemies you slash at, and protect yourself at the same time.

The last game I played that required skill was Metroid Prime, because it was the last game I played. As many people have already said they all require some skill or another, but perhaps to varying degrees.

I guess witcher 2 required some skill, you can't stand around in one place and mash buttons.
Also audiosurf, my friends suck at it compared to my skills!
I'm unable to call Audiosurf a casual game because that game really takes a lot of skill and concentration.

The last game I played that required serious mad skills... http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/downloads.php this requires extreme skills...
However last game I played that required skills. Last Remnant. Takes a strategic mind and quick reflexes in battles to obtain critical hits.

Unless the game is playing itself for you, every single game in existence requires skill on one level or another. Whether it's Portal 2 which requires critical thinking skills, Call of Duty which requires fast reflexes, precision and tactical thinking, or even Plants vs. Zombies which requires proper utilization of resources and strategic placement of defenses, all games require skill.
This guy.

On topic, League of Legends was the last game I played that required some skill. Apparently some 50% of the champions are overpowered, and even though I'm playing one of those, I have to develop my ability to play cautiously so I don't get fucking pwn'd by the 5 others on the other team.

Yes, many games.

Not ADOM and Subterranean Animism, though. Those are a joke.
Okay thats it. You insulted my favorite game(not really) of my favorite genre(not really).
If ADOM does not require any(even thinking) skill then I challenge you to use some sort of character editor and make yourself a max level(max level, nothing else) character and complete the game.
Even nethack is more of a puzzle than a roguelike. If you ever played it for a long time then you would know what I am talking about.

I'd like to think Rock Band takes more skill nowadays than most games. Pro keys and pro drums are all I need for a good challenge. I wouldn't mind picking up the pro guitar, but at the same time I already own two guitars and don't really need another that I know isn't as nice as the two I have.
