Poll: Least favorite genre of game?

Sports and racing. Racing less so, but I play games to try an avoid harsh reality, not to crash into things and get beaten every other match.

sports or MMO. I put on MMO tough 'cause the OLD sports games were fucking awesome. Ice hockey-atari 2600 or the NES tecmo-titles. Also theere were awesome sports games during the 16-bit wars.

I said sports, but rhythm is up there as well, I have to question you poll though: jrpg and w/arpgs are very different, as are puzzle and rythm.

Sports games, in my opinion shouldn't exist. All they do is provide solace to those beer bellied men in their 40s who never managed to get into the football team because of their lazy behaviors so now they spend all of their money on the new sports games for the xbox.

Sports games. They just seem pointless. I also dislike most racing games.

And here we have my least favourite genre also. Though I might not say that they are any more pointless than other games, I just can't enjoy playing sport games. I can tolerate some racing games though (Crash Team Racing, for example).

Also, my interest in MMO(RPG)s died when I quit Runescape a long time ago. I tried playing Perfect World for a while, but the grinding and boring missions in it turned me away. Also, I don't want to pay for my game time every month, after buying a game. So no MMOs for me.

I absolutely despise sports games but absolutely adore racing games. Split them up. Now. I'm not voting otherwise.

Same. Though I managed to vote since my hatred for sports games very slightly outweights my love for certain shiny racing games.

Racing games are good, but I absolutely loathe sports. How many more FIFAs and Pro Evos do we need, seriously? Can't the new teams and such just be released as DLC? PGR3 or 4, yes, they're good. FIFA '10 is not good. Simple as that.

Yeah, gaming can be expensive, especially on PC. I only just got a PC and already Im looking to upgrade =p. Are you on console or PC?

I find MMO's nothing but WoW ripoffs and even then i didnt like WoW. Only MMO I ever really liked was City of Villians but even then I only really play it during free weekends because I wouldnt spend money on a mmo (again) to save my life. Also because unless you look really hard the people on them suck.

JRPG's because I never understood how they are RPG's except for the fact that you can select your characters name it gets no more in-depth then that. I remember playing Finaly Fantasy IX (I think) and just being bored out of my mind. Also I lived for 7 months with a Japanese Fanboy and it really turned me off anything Japanese. But more the whole boring and not being real RPG's

I agree with this post wholeheartedly, except for the fact that I love FFIX. xD

JRPGs actually aren't real RPGs, in my opinion. This doesn't mean I don't like them. I love the 16-bit classics like FFVI, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG, as well as more recent games like FFIX and Golden Sun (and I've heard that the Shin Megami Tensei series is great too... is it?). However, they don't allow you ANY control over your characters' stat growth, which is something I adore about WRPGs. Besides, the stories of the more recent ones are crap. WRPGs have really taken over the genre in recent years.

Rpgs and racing games, basically I find them both really boring, especially turned based combat. (Yawn) As for racing games well I just plain suck at those, "hah" probably explains my hatred for them.
