If I had more options I would have made a seperate spot for racing games, JRPGs (since I've seen some saying that they wish that they could vote for only JRPGs... heh, I like both styles, personally), and maybe puzzle games (but they seem to fit better together than the other two).

And Naturalized, I need to ask you something. What the hell are you going on about...? o.o

every year, a new Madden is released, and every year the same idiots buy it in order to live vicariously through stronger, more virile, more athletic, and in most cases, younger men.

I can understand why JRPG's may not appeal to people but I never expected them to be this derided. Ah well. *shrugs*

I don't think you should put sports and racing as one group because I like racing, but I hate sports games.(btw that is the one I voted for)

Argh poll fail.

I absolutely despise sports games but absolutely adore racing games. Split them up. Now. I'm not voting otherwise.
Ok, I'll just put racing in the ninth slot.

Oh wait.
Well MMOs and RPGs are the same thing why not put them together and put the racing genre separate when so many of them are based around illegal (read: awesome) street racing which is not a sport.
MMO's and RPG's are similar, but different things. You can have and MMOFPS which is completely different from an MMORPG.

Sports games. They just seem pointless. I also dislike most racing games. I loved Burnout 3, though.
This is also true for me. I only managed to get a demo of Burnout 3, but that didn't stop me from playing it a lot.

I also dislike FPSs. They're all just too similar anymore.

Sports games. If I#d want to play sports I'd just do it irl, not sitting in front of a screen

Interesting choice to combine sports and racing. Personally I played sports and racing exclusivly untill I got my hands on CoD 4. Never looked back since.

OT: From the poll choices I'd say MMO. I got a free account from a friend and tried. I ignored the quest where your sole mission was that you should go round a house. I killed some wolfs instead. And died.

[sub]I know that "This game sux becasue I suck" doesn't justify my choice but I'm just making up for a friend that said MP for CoD 4 was supperior on 360 just becasue he sucked at the Pc-version.[/sub]

Sports. Because EA designs most of them.

In all seriousness, I dislike sport games because I dislike sports; I fail to see what is appealing about kicking a ball in a muddy field, or hitting and often losing a tiny white ball with a stick.
pretty much how I feel about sports games. I don't enjoy watching them, and I don't enjoy playing them; why would making them into a video game make me enjoy it more?

First person shooters with asterisk, on consoles.

Controls always feel like I'm fighting them and disorient me. Added that they tend to feel a generation or two behind what I play at friend's house on his high end PC. Third person tend to handle better.

Second place is MMORPG. Essentially strips all what I love about RPGs and adds what bothers me.

Sports. Because I can't play them in real life, and I have no desire to play them in my virtual life.

I'm fine with racing however.

Sports/Racing.... I can't really "get into" them as much as RPG's/FPS' and the like. Most of them are basically quickies.

I absolutely hate sports games. I mean, I'm not bad at madden, it's just really boring.
