People enjoy eating cake too. But they don't go steal shit to buy cake. The addictiveness is completely psychological and even debatable. Video games or movies are about as addicting as pot. The reason some people get addicted is because they have an obsessive streak. Pot has been demonized in societies for more than what it is. Pot isn't going to make you go steal crap or any other nonsense. Your morals might. If someone steals stuff to get pot, they probably steal stuff anyways.
So why bother tempting even more people into stealing stuff? ¬.¬
At least cake doesn't have effects on how people behave, doesn't change how a person feels. Doesn't give them a feeling they want again and again.
Sure, legalise it for the rest of the world if you want, but by damn, move all the bad apples to where I live and firebomb it first. I don't want them loose and ruining it for everyone else.
First, what character is those eyes after the first sentence.

Second, you missed the point. Weed doesn't tempt you to steal. Your morals do that. A thief is still a thief on weed. The weed didn't make him that way, he already was is my point. And some people have eating disorders based on the fact that cake DOES make them feel better. Or chocolate, or hamburgers, or just greasy food in general.

Seems like you are having your view on weed be based on the punks near you. (Punks smoke weed too.) But I bet some fairly decent people you know secretly smoke as well. Most decent people who smoke don't parade it, because they aren't idiots. And I garauntee you have sent up red flags to them as to "Better not tell Greyfox I smoke weed, he ain't cool with it."

You know, I honestly read this as 'Legalize cannibals: Yay or Nay'...

I say we make it legal.

Everybody just keep watching Portugal. They legalized everything a little while ago. IN Amsterdam weed is decriminalized. In Portugal, it is legal. As is coke, heroine, etc. SO far they have surprisingly had no real "chaos in the streets". This may be why California is going ahead and pushing it.

You do realize all the problems you describe come from the illegalization and NOT the drug itself?
Hardly. It changes the way the people behave. I'd love to know what my own step-brother would have been like if he had not become addicted to cannabis and stolen stuff to pay for his habit.

1) ¬/` is the key directly to the left of "1".
2) Yes, personal morals dictate how one will act. But cannabis tends to blur the lines a little bit, no? I've known good people turn to scum after sampling cannabis. Perhaps it was their all along, but that still means that cannabis unlocked that ability to become scum.
And yes, some people have eating disorders such as that. But they are still not mind-altering. Hallucinogenic hamburgers. Heh. As fun as that sounds, it tends not to be the case.
No punks where I live. "Punk" tends to be a way of life, a way of dressing, etc. Something from, what, the 80's?
Punks are punks, drug-addicted assholes are not.
Kinda wish they were punks instead, with no drug addiction... at least it would be safer to walk around at night...
Anyway, of the few decent people I know, none smoke weed. I know they don't. It isn't that hard to tell. There aren't enough decent people where I live for them to have cannabis users amidst their numbers.

yes it does obese people want cake (or whatever they like) again and again that's why they're obese so by that logic cake should be illegal too
Tell me then, when was the last time you saw someone who was an avid cake lover, who likes to vandalise things, steal things, threaten people, etc?
I don't remember ever seeing a cake mess with someone's mind to that extent (excluding the obvious Portal cake).
Plus, cake tends not to stink and give headaches >.>
dude stoned people don't go out running around the streets breaking stuff and stealing shit because there are cops out there and no matter how stoned you are you will still retain some amount of common sense I thought it was common knowlege that stoned ppl stay at home listen to music or in my case paint and occasionally do a bit of harmless sandwich binging the people that you say are out stealing and breaking your stuff are probably drunk or are just plain old assholes also I don't know where you heard this headache think from because if anything it relieves headaches and medically is used as a pain relief

A little bit of cannabis does wonders for the mind
Impairing cognitive functions does do wonders for the mind. That's why drunks are some of the brightest people you meet.

Look, I'm all for you doing crap to your body, but self delusion is just ridiculous, and trying to justify it to others is worse.

I'd vote yes, but being that I'm allergic to the shit and YES, it will harm me, I don't want it in public. No reason I should be impaired because someone else wants to be.
