At the current, I live with my mother. Though things aren't the best between us, so I'm trying to get out as fast as possible.

Well I'm 21 now, living with my parents. They love having me here, I quite enjoy being here. I have all my pets here! Also I help out around the house a lot.

While they somewhat tolarate (I wouldn't say they love me staying with them as I'm pretty sure I had out stay my welcome) having me living with them but I'm pretty sure they want me out and I don't blame them.
I mean I should be living on my own (and I love living by myself during my Uni times) but we both know how hard it is at the moment due to the recession and with me not having alot of savings. It also the fact that they getting old so they can't keep looking after for forever or it may end up with me looking after them which I do not want that to happen!

I've been very ill for a number of years and I live with my Mum she is very supportive and I think she likes having me here after my Dad passed away. My sister only lives like 3 doors away too.

I'm hoping I can help her do the house up when I'm better and back to work.

22, still at home, and it's weird, they sort of want me here, but the sorta don't, and i don't really want to be here anymore because they really, REALLY get me aggravated beyond belief.

I'm going to have to leave to go to school, if i don't get out i'll go insane

Even though I'm 25 and married, I've never lived by myself (or just me and the wife). My parents divorced when I turned 18, that caused my dad to attempt suicide and I had to drop out of college to take care of him physically and emotionally. When I met my wife she was okay with the idea of moving in with him and I. We're basically trying to help him meet a new woman and get set-up, as he has more trouble with the idea of living alone and I'm kind of afraid to leave him alone still. Haven't talked to my mom since that day when she left for another woman. Yeah, what the hell, I don't see the point in talking about something like this without being straight up with you guys, and nobody knows who I am in RL anyway....

Moved out when I was 19 for University/Work and never looked back. My family are great, but there comes a point where you just need to be living your life on your own terms and at that point it's time to get out.

I moved out a bit ago... mostly because I'm going to college, but also because of how much I dislike my brother... and the fact that I don't get along with my stepdad well at all... but either way no one really cares...<.<

I'm relatively neutral about my living situation.

Went to a university for over a year before I got suspended because I was a terrible student. Freshman year can get ya. Haven't returned because then my loans took me over and I couldn't get the financial aid due to my lousy grades. And now... a bit stuck.

My mom pretty much wants me out. Not right away or anything. But eventually. My brother was told that he needs to have a place by the time he turns 30. He's 26 now. I'm 24 and I imagine that's around the same time I've got.

Possibly a little longer as I'm female and I've been helping her out a bit when she's been ill. But mostly she wants me to have my own place.

So do I most of the time. I enjoy living here mostly because I have nowhere else to go. But really there's been lots of issues. Wanting my independence because damn it if she isn't naggy most of the times.

Well school is only a 30 minute drive away and free housing you know. Plus the area around the school eh....full of bad neighborhoods. Plus I take care of all the bills and stuff like that and help out so it's not completely mooching off them....not really.

I'm still at home due to...personal reasons, but I intend to move out by the time I'm 30. Now I just have to hold myself to it...

I moved out when I was 17 to go to uni. I think I may have a rather different dynamic with my parents than most of the people who have posted, though honestly I couldn't stand the thought of not doing everything by myself, my own way. 20 years old at the moment.

I'm 19 and still at home with the family. I'm not jumping to move out - I know I can't afford to live alone, nor do I bloody want to. Why rush when I can have all of my comforts still? And my pets are here. :p

20 and living with my boyfriend. Mother forcibly, and quite possibly illegally forced me out (she filled a false report with the police and had me committed for 2 1/2 weeks and flat out refused to let me go back home).

College student, still living with parents. I still live with them because it is waaaaaaaaaay cheaper than living by myself, and I pay for rent every month, so... yeah. Don't know if my parents would want me gone or not. I mean, they love me and I am quite sure they would miss the rent I pay every month, but beyond that? I dunno. I am content to live with them for the moment. :p

EDIT: Though, this situation won't last for long, since I am in the senior year of my degree. XD

I lived alone while I was at uni, but went home during the new year break, but I'm having a gap year at the moment before attempting to join the police, and at the moment I live with my parents, it's good spending more time with them, and I contribute towards bills and rent etc. so i'm not being a leech.

I'm 24, I'll be done with college in June. My mom doesn't want me to move out, I'm pretty sure my father is neutral on it.

I myself desperately want to move out. I love my parents but... It's just not *my* home, ya know? I wish I could financially afford the freedom to have my own little space to do with as I please.

That's a hell of a story there. Best of luck to you, sir.
