Eh, being moderately asexual sex doesn't interest me.

I mean, a relationship would be nice, but beyond hugging...

Haha, what's with all the sex-haters around here?

I don't think losing your virginity is over-hyped. It's an important milestone that deserves to be hyped up, but people shouldn't go into it thinking they're about to have super-hot sex, either. It's more an emotional milestone.

Sex with the right person is wonderful, both physically and emotionally.

What? No it isn't, not where I live. Talking about how you had sex and showing us images of it isn't exactly the same thing. And its not like you have to describe what you did in graphic detail just to give us an idea of what happened.

Also, to the OP: Just what exactly do you define as "sex"? Their is more to sex then just the typical love making.
By the fact it is illegal I don't mean I would make it to graphic for use on this site I just mean you have to be 16 to have sex legally in England. Not that that stops many people

Also my idea of sex would be pretty much just the penetration (sorry if this is too graphic, I'm trynna keep it as clean as possible) I have a friend, also 15, and he and his girlfriend have done something involving a number 1 less than 70, amongst other things, and I would not say that they have had sex
Technically, that's just as illegal. It's illegal for people under the age of 16 to engage in any sexual activity, as per s9 Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Sexual Activity with a Child). Even if you are also under 16 (s9 applies to adults conducting sexual activity with someone 16 or less), s9 applies due to s13 SOA 2003 (Child Sex Offences committed by children or young persons). The Crown Prosecution Service generally doesn't press charges related to that if it is all consensual, but if they decided to press charges you can either be fined, or go to prison for up to 5 years.

Just thought I'd use my law post-grad knowledge to good use on the internets :p
Huh. I would probably tell them that but I would probably forget half of it and even if I remembered it they would just think I'm weird :(

I see sex as more of an emotional thing than a physical. I saw it less as 'losing' and more as giving my virginity away. The first time we had sex, I gave away part of me that I could never get back, and I think that that moment should always be shared with someone special.

As a purely physical act, yes it is overhyped. But it all comes down to what you make from it, and you give it to. (And it can be pretty nice, if you do it properly, and with someone you really care for)

Whats that over there?I think I can guess who?Eh Will?

I know several people that have had sex, at the age my friend here has referenced. I even know a guy that's had 2 or 3 police warnings for having underage sex.

It may seem like good for him that everyone know it, but he does have a record for it now....

Really worth it?
Who got a warning?

I dont have the experience to post here, but I expect it will be like 30secs-1min of awkward movement followed by some awkward silence before the girl says something like "That was wonderful!" but I can clairly see that she's lying.

I didn't, and still don't understand the concept. We don't consider ourselves 'virgins' when it comes to everything else we do in life for the first time. Well, occasionally we do, but we never give it the same sanctity. I made sure I did it with a ravenous whore, before I did it with someone I loved. It was good. Steak is good. Sex is good. Neither particularly better. Although, it's possible I've just had terrible sex so far. Or brilliant steak. I mean, no one considers their selves a 'wank-virgin'. Sex is slightly similar. Being a Virgin is nothing to be ashamed, or proud about. It just is. It's fairly meaningless in the grand scheme of things; whether you've stuck your cock in a woman, or a watermelon. Unless you don't use a condom. In which case you're going to have a baby, or a bloody delicious meal...

Losing your virginity is usually a pretty damp squib-from a male perspective at least. Mainly because it tends to be with someone pretty much as inexperienced as you happen to be-and the mechanics and technique of sex are WAY more important than your romantic mates might tell you.

I lost mine to a girl I cared about but it was still a mess of fumbling and ineptitude as I imagine nearly everyone's first time to be. the only expectations among my circle were a lass who had a much older and more experienced first partner and a lad who slept with one of his older sisters mates. They both had feelings for their partners but, imo, the bigger issue was the fact that at least one of each pairing knew a little about what they were doing.

So, even though my first time was with a very attractive, temptingly dressed girl that I really did think I loved at the time and everything was set up really nicely it was still more embarrassing than tantalising once things got heavy. I think it's just one of those things-you wouldn't expect to be a fantastic driver the first time you take a fast car out so why would we expect sexual fireworks when we're total novices? Until you know what to do with your bits and her bits it's always a bit crummy.

I can't answer the first question being a virgin. However I can talk for the pressure part. I've just finished Year 11 (ages 15-16). My "friends" especially my best friend of 13 years, is constantly on about it to me. He is always telling me about all these girls he has slept with. and in his own words said "I can't believe it man. You have a body that girls would kill for and all the girls whine about your looks; why haven't you done it yet?" My reply in my honest feelings was "I haven't found anyone I want to do it with yet." He laughed and carried on working out.

The problem is thanks to the media it is seen as something physical not emotional. To me all it ever is going to be not "sex" but love making. Of course though thanks to my hormonal response to puberty and this pressure from friends, I am struggling to stick to what I feel should be my first time. I am in no way saying I want every time I have sex to be about love just the first time. Bad "sex" or good, it was always be the one you remember and I want that to be a good memory, even if I'm terrible in bed, I will know that I shared that experience with someone I care about.

Mine wasn't, but then again I didn't look at it in a "becoming a man" sort of way. Also I waited until I was in college and had been dating the girl for about 2 years already, so I probably had a slightly more realistic view of it than most first timers.

Oh and while we're on the subject, definitely wait until you find someone you're going to stick with. Not necessarily married; we weren't married at the time, but looking back 4 years and having been married now for 2, were both very glad that we lost our virginity to each other. Making love has more meaning when you've both only ever done it with the other person.

Don't get me wrong, there are days I wonder what casual sex would have been like, but overall I'm glad I waited.

Advice from a dirty old man who likes to paint himself red, wear horns and a tail and carry a ptichfork and attend conventions: always unload your weapon before you go hunting.

You can have a lot of fun with fingers, tongues and teeth (be GENTLE with teeth unless she begs you not to be gentle with them) until you're ready again.

Only on the internet can you get sexual advices from the devil himself O.O
Guess I can cross that out on my "to do before dead" list.

I expected it to be average and my expectations were reached!

I lost my virginity to a boy in someone's bathroom and I lost my virginity to a girl behind a shed. It's not really that much of a big deal to me.

My body is no fucking temple haha.
we can tell from your story
