Poll: lurker or commenter?

Lurker, unless I have something new to bring to a conversation which I feel is worth bringing something new to and which involves people whom I believe will listen to new information which is brought to the conversation instead of just spamming it with more of the same.

Occasionally, however, I just bring run-on sentences to the thread. Or summaries of the on-going argument.

I'm a commenter I would say, though I come and go from the boards. I post regularly on another forum, whereas this I will be active for a while then drift for a bit before finding my way again.

I'm a lurker I guess. Every time I want to comment on something, I get paranoid that I'm gonna get a visit by the grammar gastapo or really offend someone. I also tried making a topic once, and tried really hard on it. Unfortunately, my internet was bad at the time so I made a double post and everyone got mad at me, not even commenting on my topic. So from there on out, I just observed because of the firestorm resulting from simple mistakes.
